So I just reinstalled GTASA/MTA and thought I'd take a trip down memory lane by loading up my old maps. So I came here to download them... but all the zip/rar files are empty!

Are they all gone? Is there anything that can be done?

Anyways, I have an idea for a re-make of the Infected Wars gamemode (Garry's mod), in case anyone is interessed.

THE IDEA - Infected Wars CO-OP (PvE mode)

The problem:

The problem of the gamemode it is not suited for PvP (very unbalanced). 

Low player count = Undead Legion gets farmed and easily spawnkilled by Spec ops Team.

The solution:

1.  PvE based gamemode (if under 20 players) = Sector defence.

Description: Undead AI would move to 3 capture zones (A,B,C). Each time an undead AI is in the zone, it would bleed tickets each second for the Human team (players). 

• Total Spec Ops victory tickets: 200. Needed undead kills to win: 700. 
• Victory would grant 2x XP won from kills. 
• If a player dies, it would take him 1:30 minutes to respawn. 
• Undead Legion (AI) would capture and destroy objective zones (capturable zones), granting them bonuses and round unlocks (Example: Multiple behemoths, health regeneration, damage resist, damage multiplier). 

2. PvP gamemode (20+ players) would have objectives for Undead Legion to do, that would give them serious buffs (ex: 2x/3x dmg, damage resistance). 

3. XP leveling system: Classes would be unlocked by an XP system.

If anyone wants to have a go at re-making this gem of gamemode, go for it. 

IMPORTANT EDIT: Later this year I might make a complete remake of Infected Wars, including everything that is listed here in it. Including: two different sub-modes + Refined Vanilla IW + maps designed for the new sub-modes.

1. LAGGERS

there are so many players from regions such as south america, eastern asia, australia, etc. and they all have constant pings above ~200 (because of their distance to the server obviously). yet they are never marked as laggers if they don't reach pings like 300-400 (which doesn't help because they are on around 200 ping %90 of the time)

when i'm racing against someone that has that much ping i always get in carnage and get spun or vice versa. i see them differently position wise on my screen so do they. this can be fixed with maybe dividing players into high/low ping groups and making them not interfering with each other. but i have a better and easier solution.

MY SUGGESTION:  reduce the [LAGGER] mark threshold to around 100-150

2. VOTE MANIPULATORS

this is a common issue in the server, people manipulating the map votes with their team/nation. this problem is usually caused by polish players but occasionally some other clans/nations do this also, and it should get fixed. because every map is getting played 3 times just because bunch of no lifers want top scores on every single map. i just witnessed a polish tryhard clan or whatever use the server like a training/cw server and it really proved to me that it's a big problem. a clan should never be able to dominate a casual server's player count and replay every map in order to get top times. (THIS ALSO INCLUDES BUYING MAPS AND REPLAYING IT 3 TIMES)

they should get a server themselves and go replay maps there, this server is not a training/cw server. most people enjoy playing different maps as much as possible because they don't get to play this game too much and joining to something like this may put off new players.

this issue can be fixed by maybe putting a price on "play again" vote, like 50-100gc (similar to map buying). i don't know how would you handle mass voting by players in the same team, i haven't thought anything logical about that so you can suggest below.

MY SUGGESTION:  remove play again option completely (or reduce to only once) and increase the map buying price

it's about Shooter gamemode :

Some friends like me are uncomfortable with this issue. (Anti Kmz and Ground Kill problems etc.), ( only need prevent ground kills and anti kmz must be come )

to be honest, most of the people who don't know how to play on Shooter gamemode, they're doing groundkill and kmz all time.

Only for ruin my game and other people's games, and lagger people problems, its really being boring.(maybe someone have got same minds as mine)

Brief, it will offer more comfort. (i think)

The reason I'm approaching Mr.green for this is because you have the best racing server in MTASA and I'm sure you can do the same with GTA V.

Currently, GTA V racing servers are very trending and you will find on youtube videos with over 100k views.

Now, I don't want you to rush with your decision, but at least try it out yourself and see if you would be interested in opening a potential GTA V racing server in the future.

I have a serious problem.In the last 2 days, when I joined,I received a message that says:"Your packet loss is too high,you will be marked as lagger in x seconds".

But the real problem starts after this.No matter if my usual ping is 60-220,I lag like hell.

The download speed is much slower than before,and when it switches to other map (or the same got revoted),I start lately because the freaking lag (the delay can be from 0,5 seconds to even 15 seconds).But the most annoying thing comes now.When I'm about to racing,it sends back to the previous cp,which accours randomly.And then I will freezed for a few seconds and I got a red text saying:"Network trouble".This previous cp throwback shit really ruins my gameplay,so I quit the game because I cannot play with this phenomenon.

I tried 2 other race servers,and I didn't have this problem.

Is that a way to solve this,or at least prevent this?

I wanted to make this topic to talk about stupid logic in this server..

So to be short on why this server is "Bad and pretty stupid"..

1) Players who know's admins can trashtalk others, but when you say something back to them, you get automatically kicked gagged or even banned *Mainly this is about Russian players and their gay 12 year old friends*

2) Not all admins, but some of you are so stupid that you claim name "Nate Higgers" as racism, when 108 people in USA have been registered with this name, it  looks only racist if you want it to look like it.

3)Russian players are cancer af, if Enix, Ka4a.ru or Intex is reading this, I will meet you in server everyday and you will enjoy my pressence there!
