Intel. I have AMD right now and it's a dipshit. Don't have enough money to switch tho. Would gladly switch to intel.

IMO it depends on your requirements and budget. AMD has some great APU’s for the money, the GPU side of which is faster than Intel. However, Intel’s CPU architecture is more powerful as well as more energy efficient. However despite Intel's lead AMD is still considered good value for a lot of people, especially those upgrading older rigs. For new rigs.. I’d say go Intel at the moment. AMD's upcoming Pile-driver architecture will hopefully at the very least redress the balance.

Just don’t skimp on the GPU for playing modern 3D games - a poorly-chosen card will bring any system down to a crawl
