Depends on your budget. If you have a lower budget, AMD will get you much more power for money, if you have a higher budget than Intel are better.

It's also fact that Intel has more performance in games than AMD

I used to be amd, but intel lately took over the lower segments to. Amd consumes more power at the same price of an equal intel. So i would say intel
