Since one or two people have changed their minds,and stuff has been said,could we poll it or something? And personally I would like to reiterate the fact it is only arena,and possibly to refrain from commenting if you only play on it like once a month.

What is the point in having a ranking system that doesn't do what it is suposed to,because it is broken as long as it is painfully easy to get points in arena. If the ranking exists to show you your ranking compared to other players...well...it kind of fails does it not? And,although this is apparently a crushed issue, the crits system performs it's job admirably on CP/CTF/PL - but most definitely not on arena. It's unbelievable how many first shot crits a soldier or a scout can get,instantly killing someone and pissing them off to no end(if I try to get clanmates on,it always happens to them and they leave - flyberius lasted about 10 seconds before a critical rocket and leaving). Is a vote to turn it off really so terrible to ask(or to quickly write code for?) So ho hum,two pretty much broken functions. Edit: and to phect,I personally don't complain on the server because I don't like being a sore loser about things,it doesn't help at all,and it wouldn't change anything. Complaining here is a different matter.

I don't want crits to save my ass,and most other people don't either. We are just asking for a vote option to turn it off and on,you can even have the default being on.

I agree with the arena stats being too high,even when I join and die every round,and lose,I still find myself with a large amount of positive points,for no real reason.It's a bit...eh. At least lose the bonus points. (and as it is so messed up,a reset? maybe not..people might be defensive.) And crits in arena is a pretty big rage-enducer,and I don't get any particular pleasure killing from a random critical either. I know that it is suposed to added to help newby players feel better and actually get kills,but in arena it's a big no-no. By default it should be off,but a voting option allowed. I don't really think anyone will disagree with those changes..
