]So we at sphere have incorporated our trademark circles intoa hunger games style arena. Only in this arena there are no corners for you tobe trapped in and there is always somewhere to run.
But no ware to hide.

Four teams of 6 or just 24 people that want to killsomething. Enter the Arena from the top, where you stand in your delivery tube.Somewhat the same as the hunger games you're able to see your opponent thatwill soon be your victim. A lever is polled by the game operator and all 24players fall 80 blocks (Safely landing in the center of the arena). . Killingor surviving which is the challenge? the arena may decide for you, With trapsaround every corner your opponent is not the only enemy. Your choices now torun or fight, Fighting may grant you immediate weapons and armor. But runningmay give you the ability to live and survive. It's your choice.
Game rules
Rule one. Players must enter free of inventory
Rule two. No placing or destroying blocks. (Hopefully thiscan be achieved by land setting arena or game area)
Rule three. Leaving the arena equals death
The winner is either the last player or the last team to survive.

Hey guys,
Thought I'd add something a bit different to the server. I'll be adding in treasure hunts and quests as and when I can, so check back to see what's happening.
Current Treasure Hunts:
Treasure hunts are marked by a symbol on dynmap. The symbols will change, but as it's the first one I've gone for an archetypal red X. There's also a clue, as the X only marks the general location, if the sign is knocked out it reads:

500 Green Coin Sign Hunt!
Find this face. Nearby is a (well) hidden sign, the first person to screenshot the sign and post it will get 500 green coins delivered in game!
Current Quests:
Awesomeo's Dungeon Disaster - Help! There's monsters in my dungeon! There are two giant iron golems that have found there way in and in a panic I fled my castle. I was in such a hurry I forgot my keys! I will award 64 nether warts, some brewing stands, some speed potions and some fire resistance potions to whichever hero can find their way into my castle and slay those demons for me. All I will need is a screenshot of our dungeon, standing over the corpse of your enemies.
Global Warming - By god. Mankind know's no bounds. We've only gone and cut down all of our forests! We need to replenish the earth's vegetation and fast. I've devised a cunning plan, the first person to place 64 saplings and instantly grow them with bonemeal will receive 32 netherwarts, 4 stacks of enderpearls and an enchanted diamond axe. As proof I would like a screen shot of you in front of the 64 saplings, and another screen shot when you've bonemealed them all.

i will be hiding another one around 6 pm local time that is in about 4 hours 30 min from now giving you all heads up if it is not found by 10 pm i will pull it

It's an interesting idea. Could do nether hunts, but I guess it'd ultimately be ruined by x-rayers.due to the way it is hidden it wouldnt matter fi you have xray or not and we giveout the exact location that way it is fair for everyone who is playing.
we are looking for other things to put in the chest if you want to donate you can come with us when we hide it. that way you will know that it is not a trap for other players

Regardless of whether or not you plan to attack the treasure hunters, it is going to attract other people to fight for the loot. Or just lie in wait for somebody to come looking for it.
you do know that this is the idea to get people out of there safe areas and fight for something ...pvp = players verses players ...kill or be killed
we will post the count down the fastest one there wins the second one there gets whatever the first one couldnt fit or they kill the first one ... and so on...

We have to renew everything from time to time. Give players a clean slate, and new opportunities. We always upload the old map backup on this forum (see pinned topic) in case you want to save your building achievements.
do you know when the old map will be uploaded i would like to save the city of atlantis it is amazing
