hackers Destroying stuff in protected ground

someone is ahcking on the server clearly for they have mined 2 giant holes in my base which is protected and deep underground i have screenshot sof the holes inside the protected area

What makes you think hackers can do this?

Enemies can launch (or place) TnT from the wilderness and destroy claimed land this way
