Why cant the admins use a fake command to hide there admin status use a fake nick to catch out all the blockers, campers and runners, that always hide when a admin is on there is a handful of players that do it and its just rather annoying how they get away with it.

That's kinda pointless since there is a thread which you can use to report someone breaking the rules; Use this next time.

I'm sure there are some admins that go incognito at times. In my opinion I can't ask our staff to go incognito regularly, because they're also trying to play the game normally, like you want to. They don't get paid and just do this because they really like our servers and want to help out.

Unlikely the current race server will get full ghostmode. Most people just racing for fun where ramming is a part of. In my opinion way to many maps gets ghostmode enabled (like circuits) for no good reason ("omg this lagging idiot fucked my top time, need GM").

 

Might be possible a more serious racing server will be available in time.

That you don't like it, doesn't mean that nobody likes it, seems like you are forgetting that.

This thread isn't even about race by the way, so suggesting ghostmode for "blockers, campers and runners" doesn't make sense at all.

 

On topic:

Wouldn't it be better to just have more admins online.

Instead of punishing people for breaking the rules when we are online, it's better to show presence so they won't break those rules at all.

Admins can't be online for 24/7 Mad :S There are enough admins and all are doing his job, but its just those rule breakers keeps coming.

The admins can't be playing all the day, also MIX is the server with most admins online, while race server has got 2/3 killers with 1 and rarely 2 admins. When I'm playing, I try to play as normally as possible, because I'm a player as well, but when I have to do my work, I do it by keeping the calm on the server without campers, glitchers or bugged people. Anyway, I don't see your point, while an admin is online, the camper doesn't camps (if the player it's intelligent and has got the conscience that there's an admin) and when the admin leaves the game, camper starts camping. What's wrong by reporting him if you already knows that he camps?

This discussion that ramming is fun or not is really old and pointless, we all have our own perspective of this some like it some don't.

I'm hopeful that soon we'll have a serious racing server for those that get frustrated from all the blocking noobs and shitty maps but I'm also positive that if it happens the server probably won't be attended like the other servers but I guess it's a matter of trying.

 

Staying on topic, imo, making a command to hide an admin status can be beneficial but atm it's not really something needed, any admin can simply rename himself and logout in order to catch perpetrators on the act, I've done it several times.

thats somewhat my point. nobody likes the mess on race, and if you enjoy people drivin around like headless chickens, you can play on mix...
