BlueYoshi97 Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I just go by these questions one by one, but here's the most important one, without knowing this I can't do shit:How do I position a freaking object right? With the mouse doesn't work for shit. I mean I can get one piece of road somewhere random, but then I can't make another piece of road attached to it. And once I placed something I can't really move it a bit, then it just get picked up so I'm totally losing the position. So either I suck or the Map Editor sucks, I hope the first. Quote
BlueYoshi97 Posted March 7, 2010 Author Posted March 7, 2010 What map editor? Source SDK Hammer?MTA: SA. It says so on the topic page on like 5 different spots, but hey, you're not the only one who doesn't see that. Quote
Ywa Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 You better ask on the MTA forums. With the new map editor from MTADM lots of things changed. And no one here worked with it yet (as far as I know). Quote
BlueYoshi97 Posted March 7, 2010 Author Posted March 7, 2010 Isn't it somehow possible to use the old MTA Editor (I have Vista though ), if you know? Quote
Rinkana Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 The old one is much easyer then the new one imo Quote
BlueYoshi97 Posted March 7, 2010 Author Posted March 7, 2010 Won't work.Crap.The old one is much easyer then the new one imoYep. Quote
Juggernaut Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 (edited) Yes the old one is better! With the new one. You can set the sensitivity of the mouse. Also there are keys for adjusting the objects. I don't know right off hand what they are, but you should be able to see them in the editors menu. Edited March 8, 2010 by Juggernaut Quote

Press "f", than double click on the object. You can set a lot of thing in that manu what popp up. Rotate, position, del, clone, ect btw everybody is right. The new map builder is shit. I try built a map, but it was suck. I dont know how to finish it. Cps doesnt works. I put down 30 cp I think and the fist one is the finish. I have no idea what i have to do with that. And other thing: I set the map definition to race, but i have to set it every time again and again. You should search in mta wiki or in the forum.http://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Main_Pagehttp://forum.multitheftauto.com/ Edited March 8, 2010 by CsenaHUN Quote
