Hey guys, hey girls, first of all:

Let me please introduce myself I’m a man of wealth and taste.....no wait that’s the Rolling Stones song I’m listing to right now

Back to business. My name is Sebastian, I’m from Germany (Dortmund) and owning/playing hundreds of games.

As you can see on my Steam profile

My english is not that well, but hopefully understandable. The languages I can speak/write/understand are: german (s/w/u), english (s/w/u), dutch (s/u), italian(s/w/u),greek (s/u).

Btw I have heared some of the admins are from Netherlands my cousin is living in Vlodrop near Roerdalen. That is why I can understand dutch as well. (perhaps I’ll get some extra points for that )

My game collection (on steam) started with HL2 -> Gmod -> then the rest of my games. My first game ever played was Wolfenstein 3D and Duke Nukem both on floppy disk. (If you don’t know what that is you might end up like her trying to insert a floppy to your computer

Error and myself talked about the servers. On which server he was and what he already did, as an admin. Checked my old screenshots after he mentioned the Zombie Survival Servers.

I did not even realise that I played on your MrGreen Zombie Survival Server for years. After I looked around on my old hdd I found a screenshot

(I was “TheOneAndOnly” got the name, because I always survived as the only one). The screenshot is about 4 year old; Now I’m “called” FreakaZ0id.

BTW Error was a big help for me. He gave me some tips, showed me the forum, and helped me with the setup of IRC. But all the effort totally backfired when I first joined the channel ^^

I would call myself an all-round talent:

I have a job, lots of friends, plenty of games, and most important: real life beside my job! I’m quite good at: Photoshop, editing Videos, Mp3’s, got a huge knowledge about computer hardware and eletronical devices.

I love to work as a team and play in a team. Always need someone around to talk to (so it’s not getting boring all the time).

What will you get with me being an admin/why do I want to be an admin on your servers:

1. I’ve been/still am, an admin on 3 servers before : Left4Van (L4D), CyD (CSS and Kreedz Climbing) and UKLP (Zombie Mod Server for CSS)

2. If I don’t know what to do I call for help (other admins) to help me out or discuss about that person(s)

3. Always did and still do demos before banning persons so that this person can’t lie about his/her behavior

4. I’m a experienced gamer and admin who knows who to handle the situation

5. Created maps with Atomic (e.g.: sky_scraper_pro) for CSS_ZM

6. I am very friendly, calm and a little bit to old to rage and flame.

7. I want to help others (other players) by being an admin who suffer from cheaters, door exploiter and bad language.

8. I’m always online (nah most of my time ^^) not only in steam, also in IRC, ICQ, Skype, TS3 (TS2 if needed) and Mumble. (simultaneously) ; Got a high-end computer and a 25mbit/s internet connection + fast path (average ingame ping (MrGreen): 12-18; others: about 20-35)

9. I frequently check the forum-> posts/news; my attitude: you need a high activity to be up to date

10. I got a badass screen (46") and can’t miss any action going on

Let me say some words at the end:

I’ve been playing a lot lately on the Green TF2 servers. Tried to reach an admin so often because of cheaters/flamer/bug users. Hard to get one in the morning and sometimes at night. That is why I am writing this application to you. You can not have enough admins (best would be an admin 24/7 on every server), but I know that this is impossible. And I always keep in mind that an admin represents the server. If I/anyone else (as an admin) abuses his power or if you can’t do your “job” good enough no one would join the servers anymore.

I hope that you guys put me on trail to see that I am not just a jabber-box and really can handle it. Having an admin status is a huge honor for me, will not be and has never been abused by me all the time that I’ve been an admin on all other servers.

I just received a message from Error that I could only become an admin for 1 server, I’m still considering which one to choose. If I go for TF2 we would have enough admins now. If I go for L4D2 I could push the server ranking by playing on it and second of all you could use some admins there. Only problem is that my copy of L4D2 will arrive in 1 week (buying it in the amazon.co.uk store; want it uncut) I already played L4D2 since the release but not the “official version” . So I guess I’ll make this application for the L4D2 server.

I played L4D 1 professionally on the ESL since release. It's sad that the hours on record in steam only say 326. I guess my total playtime was twice as much as the time on record.

Just wanted to add that with to my app. With a huge playtime you just know lots of stuff (bugs,glitches,exploits etc...) in L4D (and also in L4D2)

Alot of detail, which is good, it says alot more about you than just: "Hai, i can haz admin? kthx."

And dont worry about the whole L4D2 issue, it takes a fair few weeks (or months in my case) for the TopCrew to go through the applications.

I'm sure I'll have a special state for that since I can't always be on my pc (and there is no free IRC at all on ipod).

And I compensate with my activity rate on the forums.I'm always there, when I have the ipod under the hand.If it's not posting it's watching.I even come when I wake up and when I'm going to sleep.You're unfair.

I've never really seen the point in a L4D2 admin personally, after all the important administrative actions, can already be done by people in game via the 'Call a vote' function.

The only use would be banning cheaters, who are usuall ykicked by other players and don't return.

Also I don't think I've seen you much on IRC, and you haven't made too man yposts here.

I'm new to the forum and irc (started yesterday ). But will check both frequently now.

Since I will play L4D2 anyways, I could (as an admin) watch the server, push the rank of the server, make some advertisement for the green community, TeamFortress servers or CSS.

Well its not bad having an admin on the L4D2 server.

L4D doesnt need admins much, there may be abusers, but you can kick them using vote, right?
