clan immitators

there are 2 people on right now from peru immitaing alw tainted and causing problems on the server. please look into this. immitating someone is a bannable offense i would hope.

Saw this yesterday. The guy was imitating Taint3d and Tollo. I asked him to change his name and he complied. I know this wasn't them because Taint3d is from the US and Tollo from Finland I believe. This person was from Peru. If I see this again I will ban this person.

Imitating others should not be tolerated.

Maybe Tollo travels a lot. btw so many player wearing SKC tag in turn they are not members.

Yeah, registration system would be great, but if registration would be only for that people who wants to protect their nicknames... not necessity.

Didn't see this topic yet, but I don't think BANNING immitators (that immitate a non-admin) is a good punishment. Especially not a permanent ban.

Clans are none of our business really, because they are not associated with Mr. Green. If someone puts a clantag like "aLw" or something in their name, it's the clans problem. A kick is really the highest tolerable punishment. Immitating someone (excluding admins) is NOT a bannable offense.

Plus I installed the resource Csena suggested. So if you want a protected nickname, just register ingame.

Immitators mostly cheaters, but i agree with you. Kick is a good punishment.
