rocketman
I was messing around with the resolustions as i got a new graphics card. But I changed it to a really big resolution and now i cant even see the menu! I can't even quit the game or change it back because the options arnt there. Anyone know how i can get it to default? I've already tried re-installing MTA, that didnt work. Quote Link to comment
Ywa
Remove the file gta_sa.set from My Documents > GTA San Andreas User Files. Start singleplayer and set all settings like they were (except for the resolution). Quote Link to comment
rocketman
I did that but when launching GTA:SA steam says this game is currently unavalible. please try again some other time. Quote Link to comment
Ywa
Oh you got the Steam version. Try to verify the cache (right mouse button > properties @ Steam) after deleting gta_sa.set (and make sure you delete .set and not the .exe in another folder!!). Quote Link to comment
BinSlayer
erm, mta is not even supposed to work if you have the steam version..to make it work, copy the whole gta folder to another place than the steam folder and google this: "gta san andreas no-cd" . Click the first link and get the "GTA: San Andreas v1.0 [ALL] No-CD/Fixed EXE". Use that for your crack and apply it to the new gta folder.. after you do this, gta should not be related anymore to steam, so re-do what Ywa said: deleting gta_sa.set exe from My Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files.Notice: MTA needs to be reinstalled and linked the new gta location Edited August 3, 2010 by BinSlayer Quote Link to comment
