Crashes on certain maps + FPS

Hey

I'm having some trouble with the server lately, first thing:

Some maps just crash me everytime, mostly Oh_noes his maps. That one map with the pills + slow game and the one with a AT400 as a hunter bot (wtf lol) Anyone else experiencing this?

2nd thing:

I'm getting kicked for having too high FPS (38) all the time, sometimes the red message will just tell me I got too high FPS and then not go away...kinda annoying. I checked my FPS and it's just fine at 35-36

What kind of CPU/processor do you got in your computer? And what operating system do you have (Windows XP?)?

Re-installed windows lately? Tried re-installing MTA/San andreas?

Cookie: Windows not really but MTA yes. I also tried to re-download all the maps that crashed me but that didn't help either

Did u recently OC'd ur CPU? Cuz when I OC'ed my CPU, GTA started to act weird as well. (c2d E8400)

Try to run MTA with cpu @ stock.

Yeah OCing your cpu and then playing MTA is not a good idea, you are not the first one having this problem, if you did indeed oc it.

Why would OC'ing my CPU crash MTA? It's been on 4Ghz forever and it runs stable

Not crash but make the fps go above the limit.

GTASA still uses some outdated techniques. It's not used to such high clocks.

It's related to the dual core fixer. But that's only for WinXP.

Well SDK told me that he recently lowered the FPS limit but has now set it up again because he saw that I was having problems. I didn't have that FPS problem before and the CPU has been overclocked since day 1 I started playing MTA So I guess that problem should be fixed now..
