snaipers96 Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Do you know how to record videos with sound and longer than 30 sec.?There is quoby and Fraps, but those are shit, only 30 secons limit! Quote
Mathematic Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 With Fraps I actually mean the full version (the not so legal version in my situation). I think you won't find any better one, because all free recorders are utter shit. Quote
Juggernaut Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Full Fraps is the best. Xfire is also good. Quote
Dusty Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Fraps is the best, you just need to get the full version. Quote
BlueYoshi97 Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Fraps is cool, the full version though. You know, like the 3 people above me said. Quote
Darkstar Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Fraps is the best, you just need to get the full version.Good lord Dusty actually posted on the forums. But anyway, back to your question, just get the full version of Fraps. Quote
TechnoNegro Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 i really need to disagree with you guys, but i think full fraps is the best (torrent lololol) Quote
Damien Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I bought fraps and does a good job, but you can find the registered version in illegal channels. Quote
BlueYoshi97 Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I made this video with Fraps, just to show that you can make amazing videos with it : No embedded marketing! Quote

terminator Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 (edited) Any one mentioned the full version of fraps yet? I highly recommend it! Edited August 16, 2011 by terminator rotorcopter 1 Quote
snaipers96 Posted August 16, 2011 Author Posted August 16, 2011 I downloaded the full fraps, but 15 minutes of recording cost me 20GB! Quote
CyriusG Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 That's what you get when you record in high quality. Quote
MrZunz Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 I played one hour straight recording, took up about 300GB of space. Quote
BlueYoshi97 Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Yeah, take Camtasia Studio 7. There's a trial for like 30 days. Quote
xeim Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 (edited) So dusty how did you do your 14 minute video huuhh ? Edited August 16, 2011 by xeim Quote
BouweV Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 So dusty how did you do your 14 minute video huuhh ?Record in lower quality, or use a video editing program to montage your video Quote
Mathematic Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Yeah, take Camtasia Studio 7. There's a trial for like 30 days. That's more for desktop recording imo.OT: Use something to montage that shit. You can set the quality and add effects/credits/whatever you like. I use Sony Vegas Pro, but there are more of those programs (even Windows Movie Maker, but I don't recommend ). Quote
Dusty Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 (edited) So dusty how did you do your 14 minute video huuhh ?Erm, I pressed record, then 14 minutes later I pressed stop record. They're massive files, but if you render them through some editing software, they shrink it a fair bit.
