New question: How can I discreetly stretch an ethernet cable across the house? In particular just one place where it can't run across the skirting board because it needs to jump across the hall way. How should I do that? Up and around the ceiling or under the floor boards somehow?
If you can, try to make all of the cable go under the floor.
If you can't go beneath the wall's you are forced to go above the ceiling.
Or, if you have a "power measure closet" (dutch: meterkast) you can try to let your cable go up to the designated floor.
And go beneath the floor to your room. then you can let it pop outt where ever you want.
Hope this gives you some ideas!

I think the flaming stopped. And besides, Modern Warfare 3 needs a thread of its own, it still is one of the biggest games being released this year.
Since it stopped, the Admin can (if i'm right) delete all the other flaming posts.
Just suggesting.
I like MW2. It gives me lots of gaming fun. And since i like FPS games i'll buy both MW3 and BF3. I'm looking forward to play both!

After installing Windows 7 I noticed a slight increase in network latency in several online games. It wasn’t a big deal – I’m talking 200-300ms, but this is on a connection that was reliably < 100ms in the past. Beyond the obvious settings in Windows or on your router, here’s a list of tweaks that may help quite a bit. It involves disabling Nagle’s algorithm, also commonly known as TCP no delay, which is basically an optimization of network traffic that tries to reduce overall packet volume but can cause extra latency in the connection. This should work on Windows 7 or Vista, though the same principle can probably applied to other operating systems as well.
From a command prompt (usually in All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt) run “regedit”
Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces
Browse the items under interfaces until you find one that has an IPAddress entry matching the network interface you want to affect (typically LAN IP addresses start with 192.168 or 10.0); note that if your IP address is automatically assigned by a DHCP server you may need to look for a matching DhcpIPAddress instead of IPAddress
Right-click on the interface and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, name it “TcpAckFrequency”
Right-click the new TcpAckFrequency value and select Modify, enter “1? (Hexadecimal radio button should be selected)
Right-click on the interface and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, name it “TCPNoDelay” (note that TCP is all uppercase this time – that’s intentional)
Right-click the new TCPNoDelay value and select Modify, enter “1? (Hexadecimal radio button should be selected)
Verify that both TcpAckFrequency and TCPNoDelay now show up in the adapter’s property list with types REG_DWORD and values 0×00000001
Exit regedit and reboot (reboot is necessary for the changes to take effect!)
Play a game and enjoy your new low ping
This decreased my ping in most games from 200-300ms to 50-60ms, which matches the latency I would see via a tracert to the game’s server.

I might add an auto-submit scoreboard with nickname support. Need to think of some protection to prevent it being haxed though.
First make sure we can go to the main menu when pressing esc.
And make sure we can close the game properly

The first games we had where on the Commodore 64.
I still find it the most awesome console i've ever had. Tobad my dad sold it..
I remember Ghost busters and some other game which was lots of fun.
After that i remember me playing Lego Rock Raiders and Lego Racers.
I remember me playing The Sims and watching the TV alot.
After that i played GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas which i modded alot until it crashed.
Then i got a friend later that had Half Life 2.
Which i played alot and it was scary to play for me.
Since then im more in the FPS games section of the market.
Nowadays a don't play that much anymore. but some days i really feel to play all day.
Thats my story.

To the guys who just hate this type of content, can't you just ignore it? It seems that they have similar behavior as Trolls, which feed on others anger.
So to minimize the damage done to this forum and possibly even stop this infiltrating identity, i suggest to just ignore every post made of it.
I am also hinting towards blocking persons who continuously proceed in posting such content.
This will be my last comment on the currently threat infiltrating our forum.
From this moment on i'll be focusing my mental abilities to preform my suggested action towards the identity.

He doesn't have to be ontopic. Plus, grammar corrections in a friendly manner is, in my opinion, always relevant to the discussion which is being discussed in a discussion.
Also, i dont see the real reason to complete change the whole system.
The only real problem i can find is that lag could cause a lot of irritation.
I agree that since the Minecraft server has been added to the server public server collection of Mr.Green, i noticed a a fair amount of childish users on this forum.
But hey, the last time i played on the server was like a year ago.
So actually everything i just said was complete pointless since i do not have a good perspective of the situation.
