Sony's a bit stubborn when it comes to the PS3 price. They claim it won't go down any time soon, although I wouldn't be surprised if they announced on the upcoming E3 that it drop in price.

If I were you, I should wait. In about 4 years, the newer consoles will arive, but, of course, if you can't wait, then you should pick a PS3, AFTHER the E3. Maybe if there is a confirmation in the price drop, then buy it, or a newer version is coming, then buy it.You'd wait 4 years to get it? If I were to wait 4 years I'd just save money for PS5 during that time =P

Do you think I should buy the console within 2-3 weeks? Or wait until it goes down in price? I mean, PS3 is indeed expensive; and I don't want to regret buying it. But you can't deny that those clips really looks awesome.

I was 3 years when I first played Mario, and then ofcourse we got N64 and the Zelda games. In my opinion the Zelda Games are probably the best ones ever created. Atleast Ocarina Of Time. -

Since L4D uses that weird system without dedicated servers, it's possibly not working when the "Friends" service is offline.
Steam had a pretty long time of maintenance today, but everything is online again (for me). Also, according to TF2 I had no achievements or whatsoever.
So, with others words. I have to play the waiting game =P?
Yep
You can still play games that use dedicated servers though, CSS and TF2 for example.
Yea I know =P I'm on mr.green at the moment. But how long does one of these maintenance usually take? Cause I asked one of my friends who lives in stockholm (About 30miles from me) and his SF isn't down. Shouldn't we use the same server?
I have rather large problems with steam too. I lose connection to the VAC secure servers, and so get kicked every at least half hour. This is why I hardly play L4D or CSSAlso, when I am ingame, steam loses connection to the friends servers periodically, so I seem to sign in and out. Pisses off almost everyone on my list.
I haven't had it in the past though.

So I didn't really know where to post this, but since it says "Quick questions" in the sub forum description I'm posting it here. So, I've somehow lost all my achievements on L4D, and I can't host anymore (not even with local server) it just says "Lost connection to session", The steam friend server is also down for me, but not for anyone else(?) I'm assuming this is cause the server in my region is down. Either way, not being able to connect to Steam friend server shouldn't effect L4D? In the ways I described. I'd appreciate a response from anyone =P

It didn't work. The part I used is C:\Program\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\cfg\autoexec.cfg (created from notepad)
And then bind toggleconsole

Add this to your autoexec.cfg:
bind toggleconsole "key"
Where key is the key you want to bind the console to

Ok so, me and Knight and Captain Garm & darkdog just played a game of l4d, when darkdog realised I had sv_cheats 1 on, so he spawned a bunch of stuff and got us all killed T_T... anyway, I've enabled developers console, but I still can't get console up ingame, just at the main menu. T_T please help^^
(I have a qwerty keyboard)
EDIT: I've pressed all the keys on my keyboard, none of them work =P
EDIT 2: Yes I have -console in launch options.
Are you sure you pressed the "~" key?
The ~ is located next to my enter key, but I have to hold ctrl+alt while pressing it to get ~ otherwise I just get

Been closed in Denmark for 2 months now.
Only some ISPs have closed it, not mine, but I don't use any of that torrent.
If I want a game, I buy one, If I want a movie, I buy it or go to the cinema.
If you ask me, it's ok to close it's down, since it costs those ppl who make movies alot of money.
Really? You know, I watched an interview with Lil'Wayne yesterday, did you know he has diamonds worth 150,000$ in his mouth? And did you also know Daniel Radcliff is a billionaire ? To me it doesn't really look like they need more money then they have. Even though you can download shows like The Simpsons or Family guy from TPB, they still make a HUGE profit; right?

What's your opinion on this? We all know TPB stands for almost 75% of all the existing torrents, which means when TPB goes down a lot of other torrents will go down. TPB also claims google to be using the same methods as they are/were using, since you can find direct links to torrents in both Googles and TPB's search.php (Search index.)
