Screw you guys, Im gonna read the Light Novels.
They are slightly better.
I think it has to do with the fact that they are books. The anime was alright but I had a hard time getting into it.
I rarely have that problem with books. They just suck me in.
Remember to read chapter 16.5 from the extended first volume. You'll like it.

Psycho pass re hooked me with that episode finally something brakes up the murder>investigation>solved into something alot more layered and deep + our unbeatable detective finally beaten really gives a nice emotional impact.

It started kind of slow but, if this keeps up, it'll be one hell of a show.
Glad we don't have any more of that "CSI: The Anime" stuff. I was getting sick of it.
Urobuchi hasn't disappointed me yet. (Except Phantom's ending, but I can overlook that.)
Saya no Uta is still his best work to date and one of my favorite visual novels. Anime adaptation when? ;_;

Calling someone "ignorant" always sounds less nice than "inviting them to explore the medium".
Edit: hell, saying someone "doesn't know shit" sounds nicer than "ignorant". To me at least.
It's true I went on a bit of a rant.
I just want people to recognize it as a medium rather than making the assumption that it's "mostly cute girls doing cute things".
An awful lot seem to make that assumption, at least in my experience.
I guess I should apologize for the harsh choice of words. Sorry.
The core message still stays the same though. There are some great shows, even better than Bebop (though that can be argued over), among all that moeshit.
You just have to dig deep.

I'm just sick and tired of people calling Bebop the best anime ever, like it's some godsend show from the great Nipponlandia.

Okay noticing the impending doom of anime (aka most of my current airing stuff is dead in 1 or 2 episodes). Therefore i need to preemptively fill this void with more anime.
Other than being 3 episodes into Air gear as i had always wondered what it was like i am completely at a loss.I have Berserk to watch but other than that recommendations pls.

3D maneuver gear (grappling hooks) is standard for every soldier and basically their only way of fighting the titans.

I can understand why people don't like Naruto (since it's really stupid), but I can't understand what's the problem with Bleach. Bleach has storyline and maybe even if it doesn't end, it still has an interesting storyline, there's no shit like characters standing for hours thinking, there is a constructive future, a predictable and good ending + it's taste comparing to anime like Naruto which has everything completely random, crap storyline and absurd ninjas in it. At least in Bleach we know that Shinigami protect human world from Hollow and other dangers. Maybe I think so because I haven't yet seen anime better for my taste yet. But I really don't think that Bleach can be named "crap".
Bleach has its fair share of absurd moments and plot twists that Kubo probably just pulled out of his ass.
Don't know how many differences the anime has (dropped it around the 70th 150th episode, dem fillers) but the manga's storyline goes to hell after Arrancar arc imo.

Ichigo being half-shinigami, half-hollow, fullbringer, half-quincy, half-whateverthefuckkubopullsoutofhisass. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Kubo just declared him a god.
I still read Bleach though, just don't enjoy it that much.

I guess it's just tough to make a good long runner, you have to make some compromises on the story's integrity.

We have a big frame rate improvement almost ready. The downside is it takes a new download.
They are also working on fixing the infantry render distance. That shit is ridiculous in bigger battles.
People just popping up 20m away from you.
Also new weapons and a double xp weekend running from Friday to Monday.

You have dynmap cloaking abilities, which is the MOST ANNOYING THING IN THE WORLD.
Quit your bitching. Cloaking has been a part of the meta-game for 1,5 years.
You can't blame Mathijs for being smarter than you.
I've said this multiple times but Minecraft has sucked since beta 1.7.3, no way around it.
Ultimately, it was the crits and the enchantments that drove me away. Didn't like the hunger bar or potions but I could deal with them.
At least potions add something to the game unlike enchantments. Enchanting is a gimmick that shouldn't even be in the game.
Also give me back the old bow that I loved.
Did you know you could shoot 2 stacks of arrows almost instantly (something like 0.2 seconds) if you made a macro.
Unfortunately it still did the same damage as shooting one arrow but it was pretty hilarious.

'Being moe' shouldn't be the basis of the show. I have no qualms with moe unless the show is overloaded with it. (K-On!, MM! etc. you get the idea.)
Plot, characters and setting should take priority over 'girls being cute'. It can still be used to make an emotional impact on certain scenes as long as it is done in a tasty way.
Moe is a good servant when used correctly but a bad master. My thoughts on the subject.
Though I'm a bit of a hypocrite since I can enjoy it every now and then. Mainly when I'm with a group of friends and alcohol consumption is quite high.

Can't even remember all the shows I've re-watched. Most recent one was Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team.
Watch it if you already haven't.
Planning to re-watch Fate/Zero marathon style when I have the time.
On other news, winter 2012/2013 confirmed for being mostly harem/moe. Disappointing.
Only really looking forward to Rakuen Tsuihou (what can I say, I like Urobuchi).
Other possibly interesting ones are Train Hero and Sasami-san@Ganbaranai since they have an interesting concept.
Savanna Game might be good but it just screams Battle Royale to me. We'll see.

Never really got in to Guilty Crown so I ended up dropping it in the 12th episode.
The main character is annoying as fuck.
Then again, I really dislike Shinji from NGE and Evangelion is pretty decent. Might have to give GC another go some day.

Why not? I bet some of us have watched enough anime that we could understand at least some of it.
And it's not like fan subs are 100% correct either. Stuff from commie and gg etc. is usually pretty good, but they do make mistakes on a regular basis.
And then we have cases like Hadena. Hadena is on a completely different level of troll subbing.
Here's a decent site that reviews fan subs, if you care about that stuff. It's run by some commie members, so be a bit sceptical while reading it.

I like bleach thats one of the only 2 animes i watched and the other is kissxsis wich is a fucked up one if u ask me my fucked up friend told me to watch it its fucked up. i cant beleve the japs put that show on there cartoon chanel.

Newest Psycho-Pass episode was great. As expected, the show seems to be moving towards darker themes.
Not that I'm surprised, it's Urobuchi we are talking about after all.
Edit. Some gentleman on /a/ noted that there are many references to Asimov's short story "All the Troubles of the World" in Psycho-Pass.

This season looks quite promising.
Definitely excited about Shingeki no Kyojin, it looks like a faithful adaptation.
