  1. Whoever griefed our base, I'm not angry. I'm just disappointed.

This is why, if the server is powerful enough, you should seriously consider getting hawkeye. It's a bit laggy if your server can't handle it, but there's nothing better for grief repairs.

Well griefing is kind of desirable in faction wars. It's half the fun :D Just sucks that people take that mentality into a contest, especially when we're just building for fun rather than reward, it's just totally ruined the experience for me. I log in and see my shell of an arena and silently weep tears of anguish and pain, the salty bitter taste of revenge fresh on my tongue and a beating in my head that can only be described as the drums of war.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you come clean now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will ban you.

    Minecraft, it's serious business.

I went over to your arena when it wasn't griefed. I noticed that you used a lot of burnable materials and I seem to have the same problem with wool and wood. We are not the only ones with this problem. But I think it could be lightning. :(

  2. Building a computer is actually one of the simplest things related to computing I find. The only hurdle is making sure you order everything and making sure what you're buying is compatible. When it comes to putting it all together the sockets all tend to look different to each other, yet the same as what you're meant to plug it into.

When you spend £500 on a prebuilt machine, you don't know what parts or what condition the parts you're receiving are in. Dell are known (or at least were known) to reuse old parts in commercial computers. But, you don't have to worry about building it or what to do if it stops working in two days.

On the other hand, sourcing your own components will allow you to ensure you're only putting in quality, new hardware. As long as you order everything right, and make sure you install things properly you'll get more bang for your buck and potentially a longer lasting machine.

If you wanted to try the custom route, feel free to post your parts and we'll all have a look over them. There are a ton of youtube videos, just go round searching 'how to install: (Ram/Motherboard/GPU/CPU/Heatsink/PSU/HD/CD/ETC)

One of the best sites for both parts and reliable, well constructed pcs is www.overclockers.co.uk. They do customisable PCs, prebuilt rigs, or sets of components (motherboard, CPU and ram).

I'm in the market for a new hard drive, and might go for this cheap SSD.

If I was you I would get one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Crucial-2-5-Inch-Solid-State-CT128M4SSD2/dp/B004W2JKZI

  3. Okay well erm.. Heres the thing

I got to the airfield with Reaper, he went to the sniping post to check things while I looted the houses,

Then after finding a sweet LMG, my character glitched on a door and broke his leg

I crawled all the way to the watch tower, found an awesome DMR sniper rifle and went on the lookout while Reaper looked for some morphine for me

While I was crawling down the stairs to get to him after hed be looking around for a bit, my character glitched on the door AGAIN and started bleeding out, without showing the bleeding animation so I didnt notice untill I had 3000 health and the screen started to go white

Then the server reset and Reaper got shot and his leg broken when he rejoined, and my character went into shock, but I had to leave while he went to rendevous with Clav

So basically - I'm stuck in the airfield with 2000 blood, I pass out every minute and I have no pain killers or morphine or blood packs.

    Rescue mission anyone? :V

    Which airfield? I'll happily help

  4. oh i know what the problem is ! im standing afk at my monster spawner for xp. sometimes for several hours. if this is against the rules pls can an admin tell me and ill stop being afk for so long.

    Marcus6x6

the lag is caused by the huge ammount of zombies that spawns.

and btw all the members in my faction have a set of diamond armor. iam just the one that risks pvping with it.

and im not afk all the time im afk at my spawner at night. (swedish time) i play on the swedish days.

and as i said if this is against the rules, tell me and ill stop. i havent seen any rules about it.

I understand but I guess that's an advantage for him because if someone wants to raid then they can't because of the huge amount of lag.

  5. Hello. There is a player with the name marcus6x6 in the minecraft server who is almost always AFK. He is in the faction Vocalists and whenever I come near him there is suddenly a huge amount of lag in an area. But when you come out of the area the lag is gone. I have proof. Here it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hM-odvbXcj8

Note: This person has diamond armour while the rest of his members don't.

Another Note: Its only lagging when he is AFK but when he is moving there is no lag

  6. I just made a nether wart farm 10 minutes ago (I was cloaked) and after 3 minutes I saw one guy who was trying to steal it (Cant remember his name). So I killed him and I went back home and I came back to nether to see salliber10 in full diamond armour taking the warts. Either people are using some sort of an undetectable x-ray or they are using x-ray texture packs.
