Hello fellow Greenies. I have decided to give an actual decent attempt at trying to learn another language. Its something I've always wanted to do in the past, and what with me speaking with a fair few of you guys here I figure now would be a good time to start! I'm going to try and learn German, didn't wanna learn french cause it suckz as its a country I'm quite likely to want to visit as find it quite interesting. Luckily I have some loooveeelyyy friends (Raptor, Xeimo, xxx) who are going to help me out! It shall take a long time I know, but I'm really looking forward to it. Too native English speakers are overly content with everyone else speaking English in my opinion I would presume its considerably harder for an English speaker to pick up a new language, given that most of you speak at LEAST two languages already, but I was wondering what helped you guys when first learning a language? When learning a new language (preferably if you didnt have tuition), where did you start off? Do you think its best to get a better understanding of writing before you move onto speaking, or the opposite? Thanks for any advice in advance, and to those of you helping me sorry that I'm a complete nawb

What are people planning to do with names? Are you going to use your forum alias? Or make up an MMORPG style name for your character? As for me.. I think I'm going to try and take Dr.Minky and turn it into an RPG type name, like Doctor Zraghorne Minkynhilde or something I know a lot of people don't care what they're called, but its still interesting Character names always give me an impression of what the person is like, so I think it's quite important to pick an awesome name! Post any ideas you have too, may help people when it comes to picking a name or give people inspiration! (I wish they would announce a release date for this..) Also post what class+race you're (probably) going to be if you have an idea already. Im likely going to be a Charr necromancer,

rapidly decreasing Wraith look pretty awesome, I've got an idea for a background of them but itd be 100% in gmod, not sure how long it'd take. Is there any way to make ragdolls bend body parts beyond their constraints? Like, heads can only bend slightly left and right sometimes, which sucks

How so? I can just make a new one that looks more modern if people think that's better, I dont see whats wrong with this one. The l4g logo (text at the top of the screen?) looks a bit... Outdated, lets say, compared to Necrossins update and the background, wouldnt fit as well. The logo could be put in somewhere I guess if thats what you mean Started doing it above I'll add those random class facts too eventually. If I need a hand i'll give you a shout I will do when its finished maybe, as I said most of these aren't done so there would be no point, people can look at them if they want to anyway

8 BIT GAME MUSIC This is some 8bit style music I've made for a game me and Peon are -supposed- to be making. I'm quite proud of some of these! I have about 8 made but half of them I'm not happy with/arent quite finished, so I'll post ones I want to show everyone but i'll update them when theyre finished. They are meant to sound like SNES style song, not just a cool tune put into an 8bit theme. Apologies for the stupidly high file sizes! All but one of the songs are written by me which is a friends that I drastically altered (Her song none the less) and the audio is edited by me too of course.
