I thought Rei's minimap gave an unfair advantage that normal vanilla players cannot use. I would think it's illegal.

And to be honest there isn't real a good selection of mature players for admin, since I am always here annoying the shit out of everyone for no reason.

i'm not totally sure if this is allowed. u can see that he placed some "markes" so he can se where "spawn" is and so.
is this allowed??
Far as I know that is Rei's minimap, and that is confirmed to be allowed.

As red said earlier, I think just a 3 second timer would also be great if you guys could fit it in. I deal with iron guy coming out and poisoning me then going home instantly to wait a minute and then attack.

Ye, I think removing the enderchest would add to go raid others. It'll also make mass factions without ownered lands impossible + it's easier to inspect for admins, I bet more than 10-20 players on the server have stuff in their enderchest which could get taken of em. When we raided some kids in the beginning of the map he disbanded and threw his enderchest content at us, over 10 stacks of diamond blocks. If I or any other admin would see this it would be a nobrainer that it'll be taken and we'll be looking for a dupeglitch.

That's what I was trying to suggest but no one listenedfirst of all il lstart by saying that after rading the shout box i noticed that there is a reset coming. At first i was exited about the reset but then i realised that some other time this month the redstone update is coming, and bringing with it new nether ores that would effectively be missing from the game untill the next reset.i had an idea.
so i propose that seeming claiming withing the nether is impossible anyway there is not likely to be any base there, that perhaps when this update comes the nether could be reset. then furthermore seeming that the nether is usualy completely ruined (all blaze spawners destroyed ect.) perhaps other times throughout future maps the admin could do other nether resets.

Good luck Kodauer, this is the first admin app I have actually wished good luck.
I've seen his world edit and building skills in action so I can vouch for that, along with his general maturity.
Same for world edit, he even showed me how to break my world

I think this is a great idea, we have no american admins, and although Kodauer and I have had our ups and downs (particularly relating to accidental tnt discharges) I can't think of a single person who hates him, other than victims after a raid. Hes also one of the (very small) few that have no hackusations at all
.No offence bbgun or xflow but I think this would be a better choice since he is abit older and more responsible.
Thats just my 2 cents.

Seems it's possible to put a custom limit on the enchantment level, already found a plugin for it.
Let's try this next map:
Max (normal / fire / projectile) protection lvl: 2
Max sharpness lvl: 4
Max bow power lvl: 3
After checking the values on the Minecraft wiki, this seems reasonable. It evens out the PvP playing field but still allows some upgrading.
I'll also looking at nerfing the instant damage potion to compensate somewhat.
I know what he said I was talking about the guys saying what they want removed.

The following types of damage are not reduced by armor and have no effect on the armor itself:Instant damage from a Potion of Harming. Copied from minecraft wikiPotions are fine, maybe add a timer between the pots thrown, but by no means should any potions be removed. The brewing stand area map was a complete fail, that should never happen again. Higher enchants such as sharp IV/V and prot III/IV removed would mean a lot more skill and strategy involved in pvp, making it a lot more fun. Making nether warts only grow in the nether would be gay, it would just mean xrayers just destroy your wart farms. And White, protection armor does protect against instant damage potions.

But I guess you Dutchies and what not are the big bois on campus, so don't mind this dumb little American.When you accuse anyone who has skills to be a hacker, of course you will fail to recognize them as potentially good admins.Currently I don't see any good American player that could become admin. Mainly since American players only have begun to play on this server since half a year maybe a year ago. This means their forum activity + amount of American players is still low. If we will see the American player base indeed grow I think we should get an American admin, but for now ...Current pvp system is as good as it can get imo for minecraft, it's still vanilla and you're pretty sure your target can't log out or w/e.

If you take that out you would have to remove / nerf instant damage pots. And power 5 bows and all that crap, then it also makes the server less vanilla which is what brought most people here.

Yes I think it is what's holding you back, 2.4 will run it but not very well, and the speed doesn't always dictate how good it is. Mine is 4.6 and I can run far and fancy (with low fps), make sure you set advanced OpenGL to off in the minecraft settings.So the CPU is the problem? I have 2.4ghz on the thing. Is that good enough to run mine craft? I just spent $800 on this machine so I'm not looking to build my own PC although I would love to. I guess I'm going to be forced to install optifine :/... PS... when I run minecraft the CPU says it's only using 20% of it. So maybe its not the problem? -
