yep. I am quite bored of the server at the moment.
I had hopes that it would get better at the beginning of the map reset, but it just got worse. Alot of good pvper's have left. What happens to me is that I am only able to chase people around the live map hoping they have something decent to fight with, and then find out that they are just noobs. The challenges in fighting have gone away because of the reasons already stated... lag, pearls restriction, and combat tag bugs.
Please change some things about this server - it is losing players rapidly because of serious problems.
One thing I am sure of if things go back to the way they used to be all the good pvp player's will come back. And i'm sure 50 slot's won't be enough if they do fix these problem's because old player's will be coming back and new player's coming in to. But only Clavus can fix these issues.

IMPROVEMENTS TO SERVER:
1. Fix the lag. real soon.
2. Make you not be able to tp away in pvp while tagged (combat tag)
3. Remove the public end. its stupid and annoying. (public end means no fighting for portals)
4. Enable pearls everywhere
5. Remove the enderchest. you dont get any good stuff on raid
6. atleast a little nicer spawn. whit some possibilitys for spawn pvp. (since some pussys wont fight in other places)
7. Install orebfuscator or similliar anti xray. since ppl can xray for spawners/strongholds. (only if your server can handle it. dont wanna make the server even more laggy)
8. Server restart as soon as possible. current map is depressive.
9. get rid of large biome.
10. dont make map to big. or add teleporters like you had in 1.2.5 map
mabey even force nether wart to only grow in nether. (this isnt important just makes less base camping, gives nether wart more value and fights in the nether will be more common.
i think you should keep it more like the 1.2.5 update and setup. cause the server totally pwned back then.
having a public end is good, without it certain factions who have the end portal will dominate the server, this can get out of hand very quickly, but on the other hand the options are great and 100% agree with you.
i wouldnt agree on dominating the server. in 1.3 it wouldnt since its easy to get to lvl 30 whit only a regular mob spawner.
yes, but what if the faction makes a grinder, they will get an insane amount of ender pearls, also there would be no other way for the public to get ender pearls other then running around with a loot 3 hoping to find an enderman.

The admins are busy atm. so maybe try to look for ppl who can function as. they must be in neutral factions and not preferably not pvp vs factions, otherwise they can abuse their powers offcourse.
Just to repost what I said in my first response. "although server admins are not always in-game they can be easily accessed by use of Steam, IRC or the Hacker reporting topic, as for what you mentioned about hackers."
basically what hes trying to say is fix the server, im sure everyone agrees with that

Agreed, the server lag is usually staying at 40-50 % which makes playing minecraft not as fun.

Yes im sure there is a way to transfer the work you have done on to anther map but i am not aware how to do that I think some of the admins may have an idea
Why should their/your base be transferred over? If that would happen, then everybody's base should be transferred over. Just that they are a big faction doesn't change anything.
Janitors is made to add a special something to the map, when finished their base they'll start events.
That's why their base would be transfered every map

Actually It was a lot more peaceful before Minecraft came along.
You could say that about most games but were would you be with out games, just a question. With most games comes problems and hackers also cocky players but most of these problems can be solved well besides the cocky players
Having a vote won't really solve anything because some people will be like yes my problems are solved however other people may be like ah look they caused a problem. I agree with Mathijs plain vanilla minecraft no removing of anything unless it is way to over powering or being exploited. And some faction's complain that is it difficult to get good enchants but really it is not that hard any more getting to level 30 which is the max level now takes around 5-10 minutes and by having plain vanilla minecraft you won't need 4 people to enchant to level 30 just some bookshelves job done. Bad enchant well get back to the mob grinder or get back to mining and re try. -

I dont want my base transferred idm re making a new one. I'm just saying they are creating stuff for the server eg stadiums and events for the server. How ever it is totally different to what non peaceful factions are doing.
