Resupply Crates

I don't know about everyone else, but I miss the old supply crates system.

For those who for some reason don't know, the way it worked was that supply crates dropped periodically, and gave you ammo and health. The first person to get to a supply crate would get a better weapon.

Supply crates being shops is kind of lame. I'd prefer that the shop was accessed some different way, and that supply crates gave you health and ammo, as well as a bonus to your experience if you are the first (like 100, maybe). Maybe they could also give you a small SP bonus?

To be honest, the old crate system doesnt really fit in with the new ZS. The idea of 2.0 is to encourage working together, instead of a few elite players going off on there own, leaving the noobs to die in a big clusterfuck of blood. Without the periodic health boost, players need to stick with medics to get healed. Makes for a much better co op environment. Also the ability to buy any weapon you want as long as you have the sp is great. Also the periodic ammo regen provided by the old supply crates has been moved to the deployable ammo crate item, again making co-op play vital to survival.

New zs is still in beta so its quite normal things dont fully work as they should. There is gonna be a quick buy button for moments when you dot have time to browse, so that taking a supply doesnt take ages. The new supply crates also give zombies a chance to kill some humans, which makes zs more interesting.

Old supply crate system was good too, but ya know, it was slowly killing 'the better ya play - the better stuff ya get' factor.

Plus insane lack of teamwork.

For example in current zs I reworked crates and loadouts to make that all humans together (if they do teamwork of course) could make a stable defence. Like one guy repairing stuff, other healing and etc.

Crates are different because of that gameplay change too. Since you have freedom at building your own loadout - why dont make the same thing with the stuff what ya can get during the round. And don't forget about random sales for crates too :o
