Lag

The lag has never really been a problem for as long as I can remember. But in the last few days the lag has become terrible. I will try to do something like go into a chest and it takes up to 3 minutes for the action to occur.

What causes this? (my internet connection is good)

I blame Minecraft and Bukkit's instability at the moment. Minecraft 1.4.3 is on the way (and according to Jeb, it fixes masses of bugs), and Bukkit only got it's beta release yesterevening.

For now I'll just restart the server when the tickrate gets low.

I go outside and 5 seconds later get killed by invisible skeletons and spiders. I lose leather that I spent an hour looking for. This server is retarded when it comes to lag.
