help with gmod :(

ok so i had this weird video card lag, when ever i go to gmod it just stays black and doesnt change even cant CTRL+ALT+DELETE

just stays like it.

problem came today and i dont know how to fix it

i made a format (cuz i tought there was a virus)

but nothing happened, well it fixed the computer starting lag what i had sometimes (when i turn cpu on it stays black aswell)

i think the problem is in video card but who knows

maybe its my monitor

if you need any information about my cpu then its below:

Computer:

Intel® Core2 Quad CPU

Q6600 @ 2.40GHz

2.40 GHz, 2,00 GB of ram

video card: ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT

Install Malwarebytes -- http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php and run a quick scan (To be sure there is no viruses)

Then add to the advanced launch options "-windowed mode" without quotes (In garrysmod advanced options -- right click on it in steam)

If that doesn't fix it, open "Run" from the start menu and type dxdiag and tell us what it says.

DX level, other system information. Try the windowed mode first.
