basically, for me to get the sound ive found into a small clip, I need to use a program called Sound Forge to properly cut it. Or is there an easier way to do that?

Just get the sound from the GCF with GCFscape?

Download Audacity.

You need to configure the recording device on your sound card (start>configuration>audio>stuff).

You launch Audacity then you start playing your video and you click on the red circle to record the sound passing in your sound card.

Edit: Aaah. Then you can delete "parasite sounds" via effects>parasite's suppression.

I don't know if it works perfectly for your sound.
