Garrys mod wont let me join the IW servers

Hello everyone, im new to the forums but i need some help. notte asked me if i wanted to play some IW and i tried and tried but my HL2.exe keeps failing.

can someone help me?

Get a clean installation of GMod.

here what i've done so far

-reinstalled

-uninstalled

-installed(and ive deleted the old Gmod files)

-sacrified my first born son

Any guess to what migth be the problem.

Yep Ywa, to go into details umm, it fails rigth after i have began DL'ing a file called Lua/wav/Rave or something

That's the last file probably. Can you join our ZS server without problems?

I had that problem sometime. Just re-installed GMod. and It worked.

IW isnt online right now, so I joined the ZS server.

But I got exactly the same problem as mr. awesome face.

Pls Help.

I've never had this before, and trust me I've been on your servers alot.

I can join any other server given i have the ip since my maplist.txt file dose'nt work and that causes a minor problem with me not being able to find any games at find servers.
