Played almost the whole evening the L4D demo. It's the best zombie game so far (I haven't played F.E.A.R. though).

Unfortunately, I don't have any screens of epic battles, since it's too hard to stay alive and take screens at the same time.

Steam won't start it if you rename the .exe, or do you mean some kinda program that spoofs a game?

You can't changes .exe's of Steam games, as they all use Steam.exe to launch it, you can change the code manually though, but then you'll need to know how to make a support code. Maybe Ywa can do something and make a code that replaces the support code for Source SDK Base: Orange Box or something. Xfire will think that you play Source SDK Base, but you'll have in-game chat in L4D.

With xfire you can just click on a game you dont have installed. You select manually setting, and then try to search the .exe and select the map where its in . (but is that actually possible with steam, to find the .exe?, when it isnt dont mind what im saying )

When you finish the demo, a promotional video starts playing, and it's not skippable.
