And thousands of people live because of modern medicine, but does the hospitals get loads of money?

erm. Yes.

Also I'd like to say it's a different way in which they get their money. Money from footballers isn't donated by the tax payers, it's a wage salary which comes from the club as a business. Football as a whole does not take charity it earns the money from fans/merchandise/competitions. Hospitals are government funded so you can't compare them at all.

Actually £120 Billion goes to the NHS each year. That's nearly 3 times as much as the amount that is spent on defence and is second only to pensions in government spending.

If this happened it would be the most epic thing ever, as I go on holiday the day of the final and arrive at zante in the morning. So in the evening I'll be watching the final in a bar somewhere :D And if England won the atmosphere would be fucking insane seeing as theres so many english people in zante.

Ronaldo seems a cool guy outside the field. Inside he can help, or be apart of the other team. like Portugal playing with 10 players and Other team playing with 12.
