something new, finally :D

That's what we need on ZS.. we have too many house and bunker maps.

Idea:

Players who are outside of the temple for too long will be set on fire

just like on TTT_lost_temple

+1 because I'm half Egyptian.

Oh and it looks nice too.

seems like Yoshi is cursed like I am..

we have the ability to give 2 + :yeah:

I was thinking of adding dust storms which will push you around and damage you.

Pufu, that looks awesome!

But there are actually a few things I didn't really like:

-Picture 12 counting from the bottom, the corridor on left or whatever it is looks kinda too small, not large at all.

-Pictures 19, 23, 24, 25 (counting from the top to bottom) what is the height of the walls? The passages (those like look a square-ish spaces in the walls, which could use doors or shit like that) looks kinda uncommon to me. Those passages should look like that:

Either way, the map looks really nice. Also, maybe a few secrets and traps + my special effects? :')

Latest Things:

  • Finished raw scaffold design and rotated it so its at an odd angle so it does'nt feel completely blocky.
  • Added smooth sand dunes everywhere ( they made be made bigger )
  • Tweaked some floodlights that were too bright when looked at.
  • Added a couple of extra area portals.

Next:
  • Make the passageways feel more like doorways like darkness suggested ( pictures with the yellow lines )
  • Add more area portals.
  • Suitable props for scaffold.
  • Tweak hdr lighting to stop everything look like white shine.

After That:

  • I will see what I have to do next.

Last:
  • Sounds
  • A little trick to make humans avoid strolling away from the temple (some sort of sandstorm or burning effect).

After a long stressful time of trying to figure out why some textures were not showing up for testers, I finally managed to fix it. Screw you pakrat you failed your job. The program did not analyse some .vtf files and just screwed everything up in the map.

The map will be released tomarrow morning, after a well deserved rest. and fap

An egyption themed map with a temple that acts like the main human fortress.

In the map there are a couple of barricadable spots scattered around.

There is a scaffold on the left side of the temple, and on the right side there is an underground tomb where part of it is where zombies will spawn.

Do not venture too far out in the open because you will fry.

The map is correctly optimised with many area portals.
