Bro, so many hacks are assumed by if the person who gets pwned. "Aimbot" is generally an accurate person with a bow or sword unless you have video proof. If you want to prove that they hack, record the fight. If you say they hack after you get killed, you better have proof or you just sound like a spoiled child.

dkdude, I know this specific person hacked, because I had seen him do it multiple times. I'm not gonna try to get someone banned cause I don't give a shit. If you don't know what someone else knows then be quiet and go back to being a nob.

Every fight now is a tournament. It's me against at least 2-3 other people. Last time I had a 1 v 1 was against an aimbotter. Other than dingo and a few others, the server is full of little girls.Your suggested solution will not help with the stated problem.Just stop preying on new players. Organize a pvp tournament for the bigger factions or something. -

A better option would to let people make their own faction with only one person... I have seen multiple people log on and leave because they can't make their faction and have no one to invite them.
We have suggested this so many times. lol

Yea but 90% of factions are either nobs or have and never will venture beyond the walls of their water cube. And the only fights these days seem to be you against the world.Yesterday there were at least 7/8 other factions other than mine online.There are only a few strong factions anymore now.

Then what's the point of the nether. Nothing in the nether should be in the shop. Now, to get to the nether, obsidian should be in the shop. That would just take out a big chunk of the game white and allow nobs to stay in their bases even more than they already do.

If we were to go by who is a likely chosen candidate that still plays 24/7 on mine craft that would be no one. Also no one has advantage in terms of "technology;" you don't need a super computer. Everything you need are programs free to install so that's not a reason for monkey man to use an excuse.
I wasn't making an excuse. I'm just saying I don't know why so many people consider it to be so important. Never said the word 'technology'. Now I just hope Mathijs will be able to dedicate time to the server.

Little something about your self and why you think you're fit to be admin: For starters, I do spend a lavish amount of time in game, and I know inherently all of the other minecrafters. As a player, I have some inside knowledge. This includes knowing which players are ones to watch out for, and I would be able to monitor their operations closely. I'm pretty operative on the forums and I've been around for over a year now. If you play on the server you probably know that we need admins to interact in everyday affairs. So, I'm here to solve this dilemma. I like to take care of business, and I sense like I'm ideal for the task at hand.
Also, I think reviewing bans is pretty fun (idk why) so all of the forum stuff wouldn't get boring. And if a player in gamer were to request for me to teleport to look at something fishy I would have no problem whatsoever. The player is most important.
I'm currently in the faction Equalists and have been considerably trustworthy.
Thanks ... I won't be mad if I don't get it, but if not at least promote one to the position of admin who will actively participate on play.minecraft.nl, as this is what all of the players (including me) wish to have happen.

As far as I can remember your faction joined about 6 months ago max, haven't seen you play before you were in Equalists, you should really check out IRC and be a little bit more active on the forums seeing this brings great experience and knowledge (trust me, these bastards are actually smart, sometimes
). I wish you the greatest of luck and hope to see you active on both forums as IRC a bit more often Ok, I joined over a year ago when I was in the faction WFB, before many of you who complain about me not being there. At the time the notorious hackers (in my opinion) were atrueminer, drainal, the faction Trollz, and many others. At the time I was playing under a different username, until my brother gave away the password to one of his friends. I then transitioned over to the name Thecoolcat123, which is my brother's account. Seeing me play mc again, he decided to play and that resulted in me getting the account MrsMonkeyMan. Previously I have been in Sphere, when jeffbierer87 and Steve2003 had the Utopia, which was and probably still is the most impressive structure built on this server to date.
And a lot of you, including on other apps, complain about the IRC. First of all, a majority of the players don't bother using any of that, even the forums. I see in game time as the most valuable placement of my time.

That doesn't really matter; if land is abandoned it will soon be unclaimed by autokick if someone is inactive.If claiming land takes less faction members, the world will be flooded with small claimed but abandoned pieces of land. I agree it's not ideal, but it's beats the alternative.
That takes weeks. I just don't want terrain being claimed by very small groups of people. Factions should be about having large groups of people managing a vast area.
And in the end, it's the job of the players to welcome others. You can make your faction open and set up some player-owned chunks inside your own faction to protect the most valuable stuff. If you want, I could manage a set of advertisement signs near the spawn for factions that are open to new players.
That would involve you going online buddy.

I think you need a new admin, and concerning Mathijs, waiting to be told yes or no, really hasn't been on lately. The problem is it takes you guys like 4 months to think about this stuff, which is a long period of time, resulting in someone not wanting to play as much. You should just take 30 minutes and decide yes or no, as the person would still retain their fondness of the game instead of being approved 4 months later. Our admins don't really do squat, and it's not their faults (I have seen Whimplash on a fair amount). You need an admin who plays almost everyday.
Suggestions:
All of Kod's points were great, but also change the faction claiming system. When a new player comes on they want to claim but can't do anything, as it takes 3 players to claim land. Obviously this makes them rage quit, especially because I feel as many factions are closed to inviting new players, which is entirely their decision (just f owner everything).
In addition, add some signs that say what the server is about, like how every player has to be self-sufficient, or pair up as a team as a faction. Just tell them about factions in general I guess.

Yea, you really need to stress this more Clavus. I have started to vote and it's amazing how many spots the server jumps in rank from one vote. So imagine if everyone could take a minute and vote...

While it seems no one cares about mc anymore, I'm hoping an admin will actually reply. I think a new map would be nice as it would be a fresh start and many factions have gotten bored, including LRG and Crisis. Everyone would start off on the same level and new players would appreciate it.

Yea, I've been considering how I got banned and I am requesting at least one set of prot 3 diamond armor and at least sharp 4 sword. I was in the middle of a damn fight with headcrush and turbo, and WHAT DO YA KNOW? I get banned by Mathijs for mad bow skills. Usually not a bow user, I used it in this battle because when the opposition is sitting in water it's pretty easy to hit em. So, I am just powning these nobs, and then Mathijs shows up. And guess what he said. He said I used bow aimbot. Despite a video, obvious logic, and strong proof, Mathijs is a very stubborn nut to crack. I would also like to point out that this fight was the first good fight in the last 2 months at least, as it's usually me against three other nobs. Knowing that I was robbed of a chance of obtaining two sets of most likely OP armor, I would be delighted if I could obtain these items. An admin's poor decision shouldn't cost me a great fight and the opportunity of acquiring cool stuff.
Clavus, please tell Mathijs that aimbot points to the closest person. (He may have difficultly grasping this)
If I don't get the stuff, whatever, but the important thing is that we can get an admin who is able to recognize when players are abusing the game.
And White you are right... the server on most nights is pretty empty.
