I wish I was son. You'll soon see it to be true. It's just what it is. MTA is not played anymore, except for veterans. I have a 10 year old cousin and I tried to show MTA to him but he dislikes it for being an old game with old graphics. Still, he would take up a new game at any time such as Battlefield 4 or COD, but not MTA. The younger generation won't join us.

Also allow me to add this. GTA:SA was first released in 2005 for PC as you all know. MTA:Race came out a year later, in 2006. MTA:SA 1.0 (the actual MTA we now know) came out in 2009. BUT, although MTA has been updated almost all these years, there has always been the same playerbase. The same players who first played GTA in 2005 are the same players who played MTA:Race in 2006. Yes, the playerbase was indeed increased with the highly-acclaimed MTA 1.0. But ever since that time, it has only downgraded. What I'm getting at is we do not have new players. We will never have new players anymore in MTA. We are the same players from 2009, if not less than that. So take this as a tip. Let's not change the gameplay anymore. Let's not change what we are used to and most importantly let's not change the rules/scripts. Because change is bad for old players. Change is only good when you're looking towards the future. But there is never going to be a higher playerbase in the future. So if the old players get annoyed by new rules/scripts, they'll leave. And there'll be no one to replace them. So I ask for more important things to get fixed instead of trivial/annoying/useless stuff such as the language system. I ask that we all unite against shitmaps that have been ruining the gameplay. I ask all mappers to be more patient when it comes to mapping because we actually don't need to be uploading new maps at this time. We need to be deleting maps. We have over 1500 maps, if not more. Old maps must be kept of course. But we should be very careful with new maps. Only really awesome maps should be uploaded. I ask not to have discrepancy between the FPS in Race server and the FPS in MIX server. And finally I ask that this would not fall on deaf ears. I hope you agree with me.

I would just like to point out that this rule never existed. You guys are creating a new rule right now. So don't be saying "it was always there but now we'll just enforce it" because that is not true.

You're telling me the rules? Telling me "it has always been there"? I'm sorry warp and kali but may I just ask who has been playing this game on this server longer? Me or you guys? We never had such rule. You might refer to "English is our primary language" rule, but that just states the obvious i.e we only offer support in english (as admins) I will not enforce such a (new) rule. You guys can be my guests though.

I'm no modder, so how would I know? You could try I guess. Get someone with server access to do this.

tanks have weird poles and when they come in contact with gta world sometimes it blasts away.. obviously there is no fix for this from a scripter [unless other dffs/txds are used for tanks]

well I don't remember the original cycler I made since a lot of stuff was changed by SDK in the recent days but I think we had twice DD and twice NTS in a cycle.

first of all there's no moderators really.. just a few regulars were handpicked to kill other players in mix for blocking/teamkilling. and no, players will have to apply for admins if they want specific powers.

well we're not a clan server so we don't keep track of other clans or clan members we can't kick or ban this player just because you say he's not a part of your clan.

I see they added OOP. Imo it's too late. We've all gotten used to the current function names.. If only they implemented it since the beginning.. Tbh it's pointless now.

While I usually give good feedback to players I know, now it would appear I can't do so. :/ While you are a great player, I don't think you're suited to become admin. I once gave you helper (killer) status in MIX, meaning that you had the power to kill blockers, teamkillers and you kinda abused it and I was forced to remove you :/ Now if you abused a basic kill command, I am not sure what you would do with an admin panel. Now I'm saying it again: you're a good player. But maybe some people are just never meant for administration?

Hey guys I notice that in all maps only a few select players are in toptimes and nowadays even if you make a perfect run, there is no way that you can make a toptime. It's like whatever you do, those 8 guys will always be 5-10 seconds faster than you. In most Race servers, toptimes are never kept forever and are deleted monthly or so. Now I'm not saying we do that monthly, I'm just saying maybe it's time for 1 reset? To make things interesting again? Also if we were to do this, maybe we can then upgrade the FPS Limit to 50 or 60. We are in 2014 really I hope to get some good feedback. Bye

If you play this game to win GC you might as well uninstall it. That's my opinion.

It's not like we're hosting bank databases that we'd need daily backups or so.. I'm even surprised there was a backup from a year ago. This is just a gaming community, not very important information is stored so that we'd need to backup so often. See what I did there? I wrote "gaming community" that means the main goal is to keep the servers running so that we can actually "game". I am disappointed with the amount of people that are simply raging over some greencoins.. I have 40.000 GC now because the backup is from a year ago. But before the hardware failure, I had 300 or so.. Because I didn't even need greencoins.

there is nothing you can learn from hardware failure.. sometimes the hard drive will just not work anymore.

im not changing the skill of driving.. we've always had it like that there's no reason to change it

yes it is possible I won't do it because there is no reason for this. Players should be able to drive at the best skill possible. Plus we have all got accustomed to the way it is now.

all skills are maxed out in MTA. Driving skills, shooting skills, stamina, breath hold, everything you can think of
