The traditional elevator - Floodlight needs tweaking - Will make elevator look like an elevator ( control panel / wires / buttons ) - Temporary boat until elevator finishes - Of course elevator is dead - Trigger hurt down there

First Pic : Zomfgaawdzors!!! ICEBERGS!!!! Secound: New area nearly completed Third: An overall view of what has been done so far. there will be another area which will involve the elevator or whatever to get up and down from the oil rig. Who knows even a helipad or some other stuff ( Bottom Left is where it will be )

Removed point_spotlight added 3d skybox and using the 3d skybox fog to blend with the skybox so u dont exactly see where it ends. I also added a tower in the new area

So how im helping with this map is after he did his basic map stuff I joined in to test and help him with bugs/glitches/designing areas and other things to help the map become better. Atm we are working on the main things : Fog/3d skybox/atmoshpere/lighting So after that I will take the map again and 'zombify' it: -Zombie Survival Atmosphere -Small details -Balancing it out for zombies and humans -etc

More new pics with some props and starting to add the small details. Check out the nasty restroom. I will make the dustmotes bigger in there because u cant even see them

its actually 4 squares thick so yeah...it is thin..... but its actually more thicker than the picture shows.

Appologies to everyone for overreacting and annoying people about the greenie nominating issue and should of acted more mature about it, I just got used to everyone liking me all the time and I had no idea how some people actually thought about me. So once again I appologise to everyone about that issue and hope that we can forget about that.

same I persuade people to play berzerkor You kidding me? Berserker? Zombies should he hunting humans!! humans running with 100hp quick cure for 20minutes atm berserkers cant hunt the zombies because they are underpowered they used to have strong melee attacks but now they are... pansies!

Eh. I was here before the major update. Like When you could walk around and find weapons on the floor you havnt played for a long time, thats probably the answer. Lots of garrys fkced updates and deluvases updates screwed your classes dont worry everyone is still lvl 0 and 1 mainly because u cant lvl up atm

if you mean the catwalk with the light i will add supports soon loads of work to do but it promises to be better than ambush v1 and v2, i mean its ARCTIC!

nothing will happen if we just keep talking about this. All we have to do and can do is wait untill deluvas fixes it.

Removed the pipe and changed it with a catwalk on a higher floor level. I will add a different texture on the insides to make it better

I also noticed at the moment that is snows inside the building? Any ideas there?

Medics should be weaker I think in general. They should take more dmg since they can heal whenever they want.

It's too dark and no fun to play on. People can't see anything, and flash lights aren't an option, because that way, only a small spot is illuminated and it's very annoying. Add more lights. - The pipe or whatever it is comes out of nowhere. It doesn't server a goal, only a cheap way to hang up some lights that look out of place. In real oil rigs, this isn't there. (Oilrigs require plenty of light for people to work properly on them) - That's up to you. You could keep the white-ish colour of the texture, but make it concrete or keep it metal. - I will increase the light of the light_environment and add more lights but not too many since it will be heavy on compiling. - Im going to find a good use for it. - I think it looks quite nice and fitting tbh

Appologies for making another one of these progress topics when I just made zs_tainted but I have more interest in my oilrig-like maps atm so for now the progress of the map will be paused. zs_ambush_v3 promises to be much more different than the other two and will be the final: - No square blocky rooms - Arctic theme - Snowy! - Custome skybox that suits the theme - Nighttime - Learnt more things than I knew from v1 and v2 - Make sure theres no mass camping - Make sure theres no exploiting - Make sure it works for zombines to go around - Etc Here is a photo of the main area I have been working on. I will show you guys some inside pictures and different areas if the map tomarrow once I do some more work. (The light under the black blocky thing is actually a pipe with some stuff on it but the thing didnt capture it well. ) ! Ideas and Suggestions !
