Actually, it was the other way around - it got changed from 33 to 66. (as stated in http://store.steampowered.com/news/3976/ (bottom of "General")) What it did was that one could reach high speeds easier. Most maps became retardedly easy and dogfights turned into a question of who had the better latency. Post #2 of http://forums.solidsurf.info/index.php?topic=1432.0 explains this quite well.

I approve of this service and/or product.

A really nice map you've got there Dese. I really like the spawn area - it's rather unconventional and the weapon choices give a lot of variety. The other part of the map is also pretty good as it has something for everbody : newer players can stay at the jail area and use cover while better players will have nice dogfights on the many rails. I also like that the map sends you to jail easily but lets you get out of it easily as well. Spawn- and Telecamping are also not supported which is another plus.

In the latest update of Cs a new serversetting got added : sv_enablebunnyhopping. By default, this setting is set to 0, so it really isnt possible to Bhop atm. Imo this should get fixed because it makes a few maps unplayable or very hard to play on. (skillsurfmaps, surf_buck_fever and surf_buck_wild for example) It also slows down gameplay which really isnt necessary.

(Surf) Reduced falldamage (25% less ?) (Surf) Ammo regeneration (DR+Surf) Premium sounds (like admin sounds but you can buy them for coins) Anyway, I think that a long jump or "fast jump" (mentioned by BeatAlex) feature would get abused too much.
