It seems we can run the server just fine during the day, but in the evening during peak times things get a bit too tight. I'll restart the server later tonight again. I get the feeling the ARG is nearing its conclusion soon though. We'll be back to 24/7 within the week.

God I hated the animation so much, but eventually did appreciate the humour.

Server is currently online to see if Delia holds.

We're gonna test in an hour or so. The wiki load is now at its max so that's the best time to test.

Damn I used to watch half those shows too. Later on it was all Cartoon Network though (during it's peak time of Dexter's Laboratory, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo and stuff like that).

Well luckily it's still a month away so maybe you can be arsed by then.

Thats because of me or thats because there is something umm... "bad" happening? No because I'll personally train you during the entire LAN to stop posting pointless comments and get your warn level down. You will go home a changed person. Unless you fail, then you won't be going home at all. We know how to hide bodies.

Minecraft server might be down for some time. Ywa decided to offer Delia up for hosting the Valve ARG wiki, which is generating a metric fuckton of traffic right now. We'll see what we can do about the MC server tomorrow.

I'll ban him. If he wants to complain he can do so here.

Notch just said on his Twitter that 1.5 will feature rain and snow.

Sounds like the best idea ever. Not all maps have props laying around. Zombie attacks should be able to knock them over too. It should be the player's responsibility to watch his turret and make sure it's placed on the right spot.

Gonna install a death notices plugin tomorrow.

Scene is nice but it doesn't say much about anything.

Two things: Some people want blocks they can't get in the server, like netherrack. I've come up with a little system for this: give me one gold block (crafted from 9 gold bars) which I'll 'sacrifice' in exchange for a block of your desire. Another thing is that apparently the live map has some ingame commands for people to hide themselves. Type "/dynmap hide" and "/dynmap show" in chat to toggle your visibility on the live map. This way you can still perform sneak attacks etc.

First faction to provide a free tour

I thought this was Faction Wars, not "Pretty Building Contest" Prestige dude. It's all about the prestige! Every player and his mom wants to join our faction because of our awesome buildings.

I read 8-bit theatre and VG cats. VG cats only updates like once a month nowadays so that sucks. Other good gaming-related webcomics I read are Nerf Now, Looking for Group and Manly Guys Doing Manly Things.

Best webcomics on teh internet. If you haven't read it yet you will have to sacrifice a month or two (read Problem Sleuth before starting on Homestuck).

I think you should invest more time in armour and weapons then. And only team up with people you trust. People on the server keep bitching about their allies and faction members, but that's all your own fault for trusting them in the first place. There's also a nasty (server side?) chunk bug going around. I think it's a Minecraft bug so you'll have to wait for Notch & co fix it. Meanwhile use the "f sethome" and "f home" commands to teleport to safe area if you get stuck in a faulty chunk.

Works on my Firefox 4 (again?) Seems stuff is still a bit iffy. But it wouldn't be Minecraft otherwise.

And that's why you only let people in your faction that you trust I disabled the web chat for the live map btw, someone abused it and I figured it wasn't worth it anyway.
