goth. would you rather i became administrator for this community, or you died a slow and painful death? i'm not saying death comes to those who deny me the role of administrator, but that was the only option i could come up with.

i'm sorry if i came across as demanding, but i was just wondering how i would go about playing within this community peacefully, and without any periods of ban time. those cases i stated, although my wording was probably very poor, and i apologise, were cases i'd seen, and was wondering if a member of admin/topcrew, could explain it to me. without an explanation, i was suggesting a look into botervloot as an admin, but you may have misread my wording. also with regards to the, "only post if your involved rule", that seems to either be very lax, or in terms of any posts done by myself, ignored. it might be a possible idea to add a "forum administrator" rank, so that a person, or group of people, have access to administrate the forums, although they aren't administrators ingame. and with regards to the "racist" comments, when i was within the IRC yesterday, it seemed that a lot of uncivilised and slightly derogatory terms were being used to the British, and when i queried it, everyone laughed at me, and then said they hated the British.

i was looking through your ban list, http://bans.left4green.com/index.php, and decided to look through some of the reported bans, so that i may learn how to rejoin this community, after stating i was leaving due to abusive administrators, and play peacefully on this, slightly racist and anti-foreign, community. i decided to go through the different administrators to see if any had weird or wonderful bans, to learn what i shouldn't do, just so that i might keep within the rules, whether they be detailed or a "gray" area. when looking through botervloot, i came across some obviously deserving bans from a while ago, mainly to do with cheating. the newer the bans however, the weirder, and less detailed, the bans became. the first ban that i would like to raise to attention, although the ban is served and the player is probably happy playing Team Fortress 2 again, is Bon Duell, and he, or she, appears to have been banned for losing a "duel" with botervloot. i know i am new, both to the games and the community, but is it normal for people who are less averse in these games to be banned, just because they aren't as good as the administrators? the next case i'd like reviewed is, Hakkin, and the given reason the ban is, "advised to get banned". who advised you? and why were you advised? surely you need evidence of a clear rulebreak to ban someone, for whatever length of time, and just an advisory note isn't enough. there should be hard proof that a person is breaking rules, and therefore, has a reason to be banned. third, and not nearly last, is NEX destroyer, who was banned for "100", and unless this is code for some weird and, oddly ingenius, sort of ruling system, can someone explain it to me, so that i can understand what not to do in order to play on this community in peace. fourth, would have to be purple hakkin, who was banned for "patience". i'm a patient person, although i do have outbursts of impatience, but should someone be banned for being patient? this ban was in regards to a Team Fortress 2 server, and is the idea not to kill other players, whilst doing another game mode based objective? having the patience to wait for people before killing them, in my eyes, is not an offence worthy of a ban, and if the reason was something else, please explain in a reply. fifth, is a multitude of bans, of which i won't list names because this post would most likely go over a predefined character limit, where the reasons given are "prolonged inappropriate behaviour". can someone explain that behaviour to me, in regards to being banned for it, and then i might be able to understand why these people deserved to be banned. sixth, seems to be vegeta7141, who was banned for "fun". isn't the aim of all games, whether they be virtual or in real life, to have fun? why should someone be made unable to continue playing a game, just because they were completing the primary objective of all games? this seems extremely unfair, and if the IRC comments are true, it seems this ban has a deeper meaning to it, with regards to vegeta's nationality being British, which it seems the majority of the community are against. that seems to be the main list of bans that i'm quering, and that i'd like, either topcrew or, botervloot to explain, and if no explanations are given, then maybe the administrator position should be given to someone else, who is fairer, and "nicer" to the players, rather than banning them for simple things, or for banning them for obscure things, which they then fail to explain.

the timeframe, correct me if i'm mistaken, doesn't matter, and the topic, as far as i understand, is about removing the CP/CTF aspect, and just having CP, or CTF. i suggested changing to CTF for reasons stated above, and someone else had argued about it already being changed to a CP only server. as i said in my first line, most people aren't reading the posts, and just skimming through them, then commenting on what they think the post is about. they also believe adding a quote makes the post seem credible, as if they've read the entire thing and are now making a worthwhile comment, but it doesn't improve the credibility. you are a prime example of this, and i pity you my friend.

i would quote people, but with the comments on people not reading posts, i'm going to try to keep this short and brief. it seems vegeta decided to make a new topic to address an issue, whether that was already being addressed or not is another matter, and it seems that a lot of people, i don't know them personally, seem to be flaming like "twats". i'd suggest, as someone remaining impartial, that if you wish to "flame" do it on your own PC outside of these forums, so that the posts which are on topic, and friendly, are seen by everyone, but those which are rude or offensive, such as calling someone an "asshole", or telling someone to get out of the community, aren't viewed by those which it would offend. keep nasty thoughts to yourself, and away from others. with regards to the actual topic, about whether to change to CTF/CP servers to only have one game type, and see which gets the most players, as said in a post above mine, the server is now solely CP, which, based on information provided by vegeta, may be detrimental to the servers player list, and may not gain as many people to the community which is Mr Green as a solely, map cycling, CTF server. with many of game modes having aspects of CP in them, which can get slightly boring when it's the same concept on each game mode and server, it would introduce a bit of variance to both TF2 and the Mr Green community. i feel, although this is just my opinion and not fact, that having a server with a "new" game type, new because not many other servers use it, would bring more players, which is the second aim for most communities, the first being to have "fun", unless your Axon i've heard, and would help this community to grow, and by growing, you may get more friendships, and possibly more donations, which every community needs to carry on.

vegeta's app sounds fricking amazing. sorry for that, i'm trying to talk in the more modern, internet talk, and, after seeing such an amazing application, thought i would try. as people have said, and vegeta himself stated, he was administrator before, and sounds as if he did a good job, and for that reason mainly, especially with the issues between vegeta and topcrew being resolved, vegeta should, in my unwise, yet humble opinion, be remade administrator, if not permanently, at least on a temporary trial basis.

Minecraft is going to the only game i play so i hope that my admin app is accepted.

i recently bought all games for which this community has running servers for. i thought that i would be able to play enjoably and have a good deal of fun. i looked around the ban list and thought that about 90% of those were for reasonable reasons. i made sure that i kept away from specific bannable offenses such as microphone spamming. i was playing Garry's Mod, at a quiet time of day, and all of a sudden, whilst i lining up a shot on a moving target, i was suddenly kicked without reason. i thought that this was a mistake and i logged back in, which took a few minutes due to internet problems, and was immediately kicked again. i decided to play Team Fortress 2, which i was new to, and has different admins to Garry's Mod. i was playing "arena" on "sawmill" i think, and i saw a "black character" suddenly jump up to a windowsill and start dancing, and when enemy players walked into that room, and i died due to not being very good, he just stood watching and dancing. i "rage quit" as most people say, and went onto the MTA server, as i thought that i would be able to have fun without having insults hurled at me like towards the player who was on the windowsill on TF2. i was driving around and again was kicked for no reason, although it may have been that i was driving along a beach and crashing into things, again because i did not know the controls. after this fourth incident i have finally decided to leave this community, although i may play on the minecraft server, because the administrators on here are fair and reasonable, such as my friend Darkstar, and they know how to behave to new players. the administrators that were responsible for my kickings, this is a "guess" because i was kicked so am not 100% sure on who was online, are; Botervloot bastinator NECROSSIN Kingruff cookie

i discovered recently that, although i was trying to encourage the administration team, and persuade them i am commited to gaining role of ingame administrator for the minecraft servers, that making a second, and improved application, was against the rules and considered "spam". this was pointed out to me in a rather rude way by the Global Administrator Darkstar. i would like to see a formal forum side warning issued for this invasion, as i was writing a reply thanking people for their support and also to say how i was glad i had improved my application and covered some points where i was a bit vague.

i had evidence that, in my honest and humble opinion, pointed to you as the major thief that the previous map, before the building contest that i was unable to take part in, and, if my PC hadn't been corrupted, reset, and overridden with virus's then i would have happily posted my large amounts of evidence that, as stated earlier, pointed to you and someone else as the thief. unfortunately, i was unable and i hope that this doesn't harm my admin application, and i apologise from the deepest depths of my being and wish you successes in the new factions wars.

i think i have been made foul of this horrible virus which has been affecting your counterstrike servers. i wish that this can be fixed as soon as possible;. i wish you and your PC many good wishes to your health and successes in combating the virus in the near future.

i have recently been made aware that someone has been very active in the theft's of people's hard earned materials and tools in the MineCraft server. i believe his forum name is squirrel dude. when the map had turnip town, i saw him frequent that area and i often found people complaining that items had been stolen and i saw him spending a long time near homes or chests. his IGN may be joostvanderplas. i am unfortunateley unsure of the spelling. i hope to see this thief/potential griefer caught and prosecuted. although this is a morbid topic i hope you many success to your real life atm and i hope you are all in good health at the moment and continue to be for the forseeable future.

thankyou for the tips, but i have decided that i would rather build this in classic where i would be able to have the full-scale 3 dimensional aspects i am after. if it's allowed i would like to start a new town with anyone else who is happy to help me. again, if it's allowed i would like to place combination locks and deadfalls around the town. the deadfalls would have a set path that if followed, would take you safely to the town. this, i feel would help keep the town safe, and also if mobs get turned on then the town would be safe. thankyou to all that read this and many successes and bonuses to your health.
