You know, that this is a AM3 Mainboard. So it only supports DD3 RAM. And DDR2 doesn't fit in AM3 Mainboards. But if you have the money for DDR3 RAMs than I would recommend you to get a AM3 mainboard, because AM2+ and DDR2 is old.
