Agreed at Mr.Darkness, this could have been posted in the Minecraft Discussion thread or something.. In terms of the actual faction wars, if you have a truce (or neutral) with someone then it means that you cant attack the other faction when on their land, and vice versa, but can in the wilderness.

I'd assume this is a bukkit issue, probably have to wait until a new craftbukkit is released, till then just use bone meal to make your wheat grow

Good idea. Dirt is 30 gc for a stack, so if someone were to use 1000 gc they would get over a double chest of dirt. We'll need a good few double chests, but considering that we probably have hundreds of thousands of green coins collectively I dont think thats a problem... What we need now then is a BIG circle diagram to make the top level.. How large are we gonna make it? Keeping chunk size in mind too. The largest I can find is 45 in diameter.

Hm. I like the idea too.. If we made it like it was in that photo but in the air and we could have a lake that flows of the edge, and we leave the island by running off in a boat YEAAAAAAAAAAA It would be hard to do though. We'd need a lot of resources, probably the best way to do it would be core mining (as I like to call it) where we ALL just dig dig dig down to bedrock repeatedly, and after like an hour you have enough cobble and dirt to fill the Niben Bay. , Then we'd have to go up to a reasonable height (say, 70 blocks up? considering that the map size has been doubled, and there would be lots of space below thatd leave us with more space than we're used to anyway..) and then make a rectangle frame, make a VERY rough mould of the island, fill it with cobble (we could do this using lava+water to speed it up, wouldnt matter about gaps) then line it with dirt. Big task, but do-able. We'd need to have a temporary base made anyway while all this was happening...

Lets agree on something now so when the server is put up we can actually go and find a spot to make base. I'm with awesomeo on the village thing (the thing we were talking about) As this is the easiest thing to set up, gives people the most space to build what they like, etc. Then we can whack an awesome citadel type thing in the centre (or eye of Sauron L4G tower!) Plus when doing that, we're perfectly free to build space crafts and stuff afterwards, its just hard to do it the other way round.. Considering we're gonna want to claim so much land, a glass dome seems kinda silly cause it would take fucking AGES to build without world edit, use up TONS of glass and I dont think anyone can realisticly be arsed to do it all.. At least not over the whole base anyway.

@baron, As I said before, the faction last map was a test run to get people into it, so a couple of people were let in just to make it fun to play since most people weren't starting till this map anyway. I like the idea of a town type thing, where we can all be charge of a certain area/group project to build! Like in that picture posted on the mc thread.. Itd be good to build it in either flatland/forest that meets the ocean, so we can have an awesome dock type thing , but somewhere near to a desert so that we can get sand. We could build a wall around the outside (an awesome looking one) and then dig a deep trench all around the outside of it, as this will get us TONS of resources to use (its what my old faction ProdiGuild always did) of coal and cobble and iron, so it let's us be set to build whatever we want. Obviously a wall wouldn't be the best defence of course but water cubes and towers and all the good defensive stuff suckz.. What do you think?

Bluewolf is a user of all the l4g servers, a fair few people on here know him, but wether or not he can join after the map reset is up to everyone last map was just a test, so I said bluewolf could join since hes a cool bean + not many people were active anyway I should probably post a newer list of all the definite members

Okay, new map is out tomorrow, so that is when this faction will start to take shape more! We need to decide tonight on how we are going to build our base though, as I know all you creative players will want room to make your own things, so post your ideas and/or images of how we should lay it out so that as soon as the map is up, whoever is online can go and find a good area and start to secure it. Personally I like the idea of building a kind of town type thing, like in that image that was posted in the mc thread (ill try and find it again in a bit) Also, if I'm not online when the map is reset (I likely wont be) then anyone who is part of the Left4Green faction just claim the name and invite people to it and stuff until I get back home We should all know what we're doing anyway. Not to mention we'll have hundreds of thousands of green coins, so can pretty much buy anything from day 1 So yes. Ideas. Go. Oh, and as a re-cap, pretty much any Green can join, any obvious good forum users can join (awesomeo, box, MrDarkness, etc) and others will need to apply again. We'll probably kick members from the faction if theyre not very active, but you can be added back if you decide to play again. If you've already asked to join, dont bother asking again (or spamming me/other members of the faction). It means either you've not been let in or i'm just busy and forgot to reply to you.
