Aside from the 5 min timer on items being dropped, that maybe you were just too slow. There is a bug that makes your items dropped invisible to you, and only you. You could have either tried to relog in that area or just walk to the exact blocks your items are and you'll still pick them up.
For the refund; like shock said, no.

I don't know what peaceful factions are allowed to do and not, but I know they can still kill people with fire and perhaps TNT if they can still place them outside their own territory. In case such things happen, I think we stil should be allowed to kill them with fire to stop any such abuse of the perk if it happens.
Pretty much works for everything, everywhere.

We do not ban people for silly reasons such as opinions. The only reasons why you could have been banned were either for advertising or for hacking.
I'm pretty sure I banned you but I forgot for what exactly. And unfortunately my fraps recordings have screwed up; not allowing me to view back the reason I banned you.
Consider this your lucky day. I'll unban you in a bit for it to be a 1-day ban for advertisement, and not hacking. (Unless somebody reminds me what you were actually banned for)

Those towers were first experimented with last map. And modified a bit for this map. Seems nobody has figured out the enchanting one tho xD

There is a tower at spawn with teleporters towards all 4 wind directions. Teleporting you a fair distance away.

Denied.
1. There is a way out of spawn using the teleporters. People are not trapped inside.
2. You're probably using lame tricks to get back to spawn because we do not support a "back to spawn"-feature.
Just because you want something doesnt mean you'll get it.
Please provide some better arguments and i might think it over again. Note: being lazy is not an argument.

Since flyhacks, and others, have not been pardonned yet, this will be a permanent ban too.
If you really wish to start over with a clean slate you can buy another minecraft account.

Don't lie.
We both know you used xray, dont make things worse than they already are. If you liked the server, you shouldn't have hurt yourself by trying to cheat.
Xray bans are permanent. You can try your luck again using a new minecraft account.

The new map is being pre-generated and prepared as we speak.
I think the latest bukkit build is deemed stable enough for use. And even the developer of Dynmap stated his plugin should work again with the latest build.
So my assumption is that we should be operational quite soon. But dont quote me on that.

This is my first attempt. I would rate this Medium in resource usage. Medium being compared to other designs i might come up with.

Say you got a 5x5 chunk area, then you would have 4 corner chunks and 12 straight chunks. We'd use 8x type 1 and 4x type 2. Let's speed up the math and go straight to the results:
Coal: 28
Stick: 28
SmoothStone: 6712 + (988) -> 6712 + 990 = 7702
Glass: 78
For the Smooth Stone we'd need 963 Coal and for the Glass we'd need 10.
Seeing as there is "only" on average 136 coal per chunk it would be better to search for alternative furnace fuels. Best would either be lava, blazerods or planks. Lava for being OP and the other two for being "renewable".
Making the grand total:
Coal: 28
Wood: 4
Cobblestone: 7702
Sand: 78
Fuel: (only need one of these)
80~100 Lava buckets (given how effecient we would be in using them)
650 Blaze rods
980 coal ore.
1310 Wood blocks.
On hindsight: Maybe i need to put my design on a diet.
PS. If you want to watch the design just check the dynmap somewhere northeast, the grass/wool grid is very easy to spot.

Let me break this down for you:
1. The system detected you as an xray user and banned you. (Atleast you said you were banned for xray)
2. There have been no occasions of the system being wrong in over 600 bans.
Conclusion:
You are the one that has to prove your innocence. Not us proving our system works, because it clearly works.
Your proof so far:
1. "I was walking and the game froze"
2. "I was kicked for speedhacking"
3. "said I was banned for xray."
4. "I dont have xray and i dont use it"
5. "all I do is go on the bedrock floor and mine constantly for 1 - 2 hour(s)"
That does not really make a strong case to prove your innocence, or does it?
So how do you expect us to help you if you can't even help yourself. Let alone that belittling our system and chain-of-command would do you much good.

Could you provide a better specification of when this happened?
The entire chunk got regenerated, as visible the above ground section of your base.
