if thats the amount of people who play here, then so be it. at least give a normal pinglimit a try, 200 is already high, 350 is just ridiculous on a server, where most maps are non gm.

well, I rather play with 30 players with some high pingers then ending up with 10 players.
Seems there is much less activity then few months ago already ^^
catering to the lowest standards possible probably alienates more people than it gains.

Just because you have ~3 top times doesnt mean anything... Skill is definitely needed true.. but do you think anyone has top times with 30fps? I dont think so.. So as he (Mosh) stated if you have 60fps vs 40 you have a better chance of getting the top because your computer is faster...
"You" just dont get it is the problem, your stating a base rate fallacy .. Get on a computer that only can do 40fps and get on and play when its at 60 for everyone else, then lets see what you say.. Dingies do account for maybe 2% of the maps. You being an admin should know this.. Dingy falls? Dingy falls 2? those might ring a bell... Yes i know that that is very little, but it isnt much fun when you cant finish a map.. But what are we arguing for its back to 44 anyways.. Sorry that your mad that you cant get your way. Facts are facts and to keep the server successful you have to do the right thing for "everyone."

he was bein sarcastic. the pinglimit is at 350 right now... dont you think thats maybe a little bit too high? mta already has a rather shitty netcode, its just a suggestion, since the server already doesnt run very well (lag)

I think that 60 fps turns the server into a place for the elite to race, not that it already isnt that. The majority of the top times are already held by people with super fast pc's that are oc'ed, higher fps just gives them even more advantage, while doing nothing for people with regular or lower limit pc's.
not sure if serious... id agree if the pinglimit was like 200 or something.

My system can do over 300fps... Its just the fact that this creates more "laggers" and some diff problems that happen at this frame limit..a lot of people prefer 45 over 60 fps solely because their system sucks. thats just rubbsih
like what? dinghys dont slide fast enough? if thats the only thing... ive noticed a lot of improvements with the higher pinglimit. only downside for me would be, my gpu gets hotter

everything works just fine, and you actually dont get stuck in the road with 60fps. so its good!
