As long as it doesnt give you an advantage over others then it should be fine, performance enhancing stuff just makes it cooler.(mini map mod)The mods he is talking about Ywa wont affect the game play for others, its just stuff that adds a mini map in the top right and things like that (they improve the game but don't alter it in any way). So imo it does give an unfair advantage.That's not an advantage over other people, that's just being smart and not losing your stuff, all that is doing is making your online game play better. Radars and things like that sort of fall under this rule too but since they're not too much of an issue, I condone them.Your ass is banned once you install cheats though. awesomeo_5000 Posted March 27, 2012 Share Posted March 27, 2012 Optifine has the zoom function which has helped me out loads spotting what armour people are wearing etc. I suppose you could sit and discuss the pros and cons of using mods like the mini map. Its not an advantage, its a convenience for people that have it, it doesn't make you progress faster or know where other people are or change your game against others in any way.
