Locked Chests?

Hello left4green community! I have a question; how do you lock chests? I remember this now extinct i believe faction named NavySeals that used to lock lower ranks out of important chests (armor, diamonds etc..) and I would like to know how to do so. I would like to expand upon my faction, victorydo, which is comprised of only those I know in real life. The problem being I do not trust nearly anyone I meet over this server, as it is a pvp/grief/drama server, which I love. But I don't love losing my assets. If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it!

You can set specific chunk owners inside faction territory.

and what command would I use to do this? This chunk ownage specifys only one person to be able to access that chest? not like where only mods can get in a chests or something?

Type f owner [player name]

*without the []*.

Mods in the faction can bypass it though, so be careful who you promote. It will also claim the entire chunk, which can prove awkward if it covers communal doors, as it literally locks things as if you are not in faction terrritory.

i had a lot of trouble with this and ended up giving up so now we just have a small faction with people we trust but claiming chests isnt a good thing to have on a faction wars server. all the other servers i have played that have implemented this have generally ruined the point of raiding and made them less rewarding.

Yeah, it's more hassle than it's worth. IMO, you can't have a decent faction with people you don't trust. Rangers only have IRL friends, and some guys from uni that don't really play much, so it's no worry. I'd recommend the same
