glitching is pretty much hacking

my faction has a glass dome as a base, but a good faction with ender pearls glass and doors dont exist because the ender glitch thew them. some people that know how to glitch well can ender thew other blocks like cobble or bricks. theres also boat glitch that also that gets people thew wall its impossible to build a safe base even if its made out of obsidian surrounded by lava people can still get in because of ender pearls ender pearls are used to be teleport as far as you throw them not to allow u to go thew walls what this does is allows the big factions to kill off all factions not allowing them to even get a starting chance. my faction has only been able stay alive is because im allys with lrg and i keep mlg happy. but we got raided and we lost our only dias and iron because the gliched thew the glass walls. this can be just as bad as hacking becase your doing something the game wasnt intended for u to be able to do. srry about any grammar issues im not good at typeing.

The thing is, glitches exist in the base Minecraft code, not because of something we implement. If you want to sort it out, pester Jeb on twitter and see if he wants to recode the enderpearl behaviour

It sucks, but. Come up with inventive ways to protect your base. Vines stop enderpearls, and making thicker walls helps.

isnt there mods on bukkit that can help with this? when i raid i raid using ways the game intended for example i use a way of raiding from the beginning of beta and its just as good.

If you annoyed about the glitches, buildings double thick walls and roofs in addition to one way piston exits should give you a good protection. Also adding lava inside the walls and vines as awesomeo said should solve your problem as far as I know.

actually we ender pearled through your door and we got a creeper and blew a way in to your base and you disconected we killed one of you who had 1 diamond helm. Not really diamond armour now is it.

im not blaming u of any thing ur not the only raiders but i under stand the creeper and my door is ender proof so u did something else

I did some digging, and all that I could find for Bukkit plugins werent directly focused on fixing the glitch, this is the problem with bukkit plugins they have all these other add-ons to make their plugins seem better, but i did find one that if it is possible to disable the other add-ons could fix endering, it had nothign about boat glitching.

Well, i found something, new that also has add-ons but it has a Anti- Glitch feature if the add-ons could be disabled then it might work here is the link

I stumbled upon that earlier, theres one component (the cheating part) that is of interest, specifically preventing placing of boats anywhere, and stopping transport through non air blocks with ender pearls.

Clavus is handy with java, perhaps if he looks at the coding he can pull out those bits of code particularly and add them in

Without glitches is how the factions plugin was intended, use TNT or creepers the old fashioned way, your pretty good at minecraft im sure you will figure somthing out.

And another thing, do you think that the update will interfere with this even if it is possible? I mean how hard is the update procces for plugins, i mean some plugins might not even update right? And is there a bukkit forum for plugin ideas, if this sertian plugin doesnt update?

juan heres the thing u are a good person and get rid of hackers by sending in ban requests alot but u are willing to exploit a glitch that is as bad as hacks the game wasnt meant to be played that way like hacks make u able to do thing the game didnt intend u to do see the simultaneity ur being just as bad as a hacker but not stuping to the level of using a client i know who u guys raid of course people wild iron will cower from u this allows new facs to have a chance and will make people want to play on it more becuz they will have a chance to live man up and fight a fac that will fight back srry u might have to use ur brain to kill some people

its only the glitch that gives infinite pearls that lets people glitch inside comomly, ender pearls spice up the game and make PVP hapenen and its PVP aswell as factions that the server is about without them all someone has to do is place a door and some water of their abse and suddenly they just sit inside untill the raiders go away wth enderpearls it both makes you think about how you build your base and allows people to raid and fight much more. ender glitching just adds another element to the game.

couldnt agree with this more, any person with atkest half a brain can figure out that witout peals all you have to do is place a bucket of water ontop of your base to stop all fors of explosions from having an effect, and anyone should be able to figure out how to stop ender glitching if they try. its not about the newbes having an easy start its about ALLOWING US TO FIGHT BECAUSE ITS PVP we all started out like that and we all survived so just use ur brain

ok im gunna have to say it a third time when some one hacks it alters the game alowing u to do some thing the game didnt intend u to do and ender glitching what it does is allows u to do what notch didnt intend u to do all ender pearls are to do is allow u to travel faster thew air blocks not GLASS DOORS SOLID BLOCKS things like those people wont hide if they have a fighting chance if they have a chance to win then they will fight what this does is allows the smaller facs to have a chance this i also think will help bring people to the server cuz no one likes it when u just get done making ur base tnt proof then some one comes and goes threw ur wall and kill u

that would make me leave the server if i was new but i made friends on here so i wont leave but if a newb can get on and be able to live more than 15 mins we might be able to have more that just 40 max on the

Add water over your whole base and no one can TNT or creeperbomb inside your base. Without glitches, this is pretty much all it takes to make a base impossible to get into if you can't get their power down.

Becuase of this, you won't get to raid people who actually use the livemap unless you have cloak because they can just hide safely in their base as soon as they see you come (which is kinda ruining the pvp). I can partly avoid this problem becuase I use the /cloak perk, which makes ambushes outside bases much easier, but most people does not have this.
