Enchanting Problems....

i dont know what is causing this, but im pretty sure it's server error, but correct me if I'm wrong.

When trying to add an enchantment to an item (via books) that has already been enchanted, the anvil messes up and seems to "steal" your xp. Then the game just drops the items without the combined enchantments. However, when you re-log the xp is back.

I haven't enchanted books here yet, but on another server I was able to solve the problem by getting like 10 extra levels over the necessary amount.

Wasn't there some sort of Minecraft bug with this? Server's still running on 1.4.6 since there's no new Bukkit for 1.4.7 yet.

there was also the problem where when your enchanting the actualy book it steals you xp and gives you a plain book (and reloging doesnt retun the xp)
