Video Contest

Hey,

 

Seeing our server needs another contest to keep you guys busy I came up with this one.

The goal is to make a video of our server which features the IP in it and some scenes recorded on OUR server.

These scenes can be PVP some shots of the landscape or even a look at your base.

The best video will be selected by me and Clavus at the end of the competition and will get rewarded with something epic.

What this reward is can not be revealed yet but all the videos must be uploaded on youtube and submitted to this topic before the end of June.

 

I made a quick example of the direction I'm heading with this, ofcourse my video sucks and you guys will do better as me

 

 

In this video I used creative to fly around ofcourse but that's not even needed for you guys, you can just walk around on your own base's walls or record something from a high hill.

 

I hope to see a lot of submissions soon and good luck to y'all.

The winner, depending on the quality of the entry, can win one of the Steam games I have in my inventory.

 

Choices include: Garry's Mod, Bastion, Psychonauts, From Dust, Mirror's Edge, Spacechem, Dear Esther, Limbo, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Hotline Miami or Resident Evil 5.

 

Note that I'm looking for something original. Just overlaying some grand music scores over some basic flyover footage won't cut it. It's a Minecraft server, not an action movie.

I recorded this video as a sort of promotion, right before the enchantments got limited a while ago; I'm not a great video maker, but since there aren't that many entries I may as well try.

Alright, time for my submission. Yes, yes, I messed up on some parts and the recording is a bit laggy but I worked ages on it, and its my best video edit (first) ever! 

 

Here it is!

 

 

Basically its a saga of my experience on MrGreen-

 

From my days of being spawn killed by RedGander (now a friend) to the current phase of my faction's prominence- it's been quite an exciting journey on MrGreen.

 

I'd LOVE to see it continue to be successful in the future.  

 

 

 

 

 

I also want to note:

 

Mathijs, what's the "Hey Turbo, HUAH!" voice in your video?? listen 0:20-0:30.... made me laugh lol.
