Mayco
What do you want to play with it? On what settings? What resolution do you play at? Quote Link to comment
Clavus
If you don't know anything I think we can't recommend you to build it yourself, unless you want to. It's cheaper. Quote Link to comment
EmRA
With this computer, I play on 1024 x 768, and my settings are medium/low. I sometimes (often) have some nasty lagspikes, but I guess thats cuz of my internet connection. The resolution is fine with me, but it would be great to run even gmod on highest settings without lag or crashes And well, if with that money possible, I recently started playing my far cry 2 again, but I have to play is on lowest settings and it still has pretty low fps, so it would be kickass to play it on the highest Quote Link to comment
Botervloot
ATI Sapphire HD 3870 1 GB does a good job at it.I had it myself It's only about 90 now. Quote Link to comment

EmRA
uh. what? D:specs are the stuff that are on game system requirements, but are my comp's stats? where can I see em? :C Quote Link to comment
Darkstar
there are a few ways:click run, type in dxdiagoruse a program called 'System Information for Windows'it tells you EVERYTHING about your computerbut the first way is easiest Quote Link to comment
Hundred2
There is this awesome video card that isnt that expensive but you can run TF2 on highest.A 8800 GT geforce or somethin around the 9000 series if you have enough cash. Quote Link to comment
Nico
I prefer ATI.The Radeon HD 4850 Sapphire is pretty good, you can play even Crysis with it on highest Graphics, but remember that you need 2GB RAM and some other things. Quote Link to comment
Mayco
Looking at your budget, I'd go with ATI too. It's pretty much just as good as NVIDIA but cheaper. But we still need your specs! Maybe just a new GPU will do the trick Quote Link to comment
Darkstar
a processor might help, but thats hard to install if you dont know how, and can be expensivebut just upgrading the one you currently have might be best Quote Link to comment

Mayco
Judging from your current system specs, you're better off buying a completely new PC. Quote Link to comment
EmRA
Thought so. After all, it is like 4-5 years old :-) Quote Link to comment
