When you delete a file from an archive, it's only getting deletedfrom the file list. This makes it totally invisible to everything thatcan read GTA IMG archives but the actual file still exists inside theIMG file. When you rebuild the archive, IMG Tool removes any"invisible files" in the IMG file. So basicly it saves harddrive space. The links i gave you are original GTA SA copies. The g2a one is 6 usd, which is next to nothing imo. (you probably can get it cheaper).Much better than having random people mess with your game files, like it did in this instance.
