TheGreenGrasshopper Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 o.0 fraps lags you out? have you tried switching the amount of fps it runs at.I remember Camstudio and hypercam to be usefull, but camstudio doesn't show when it's recording in-game. I'll see if I can remember some others. You should try fixing fraps. Quote
bastardman Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 If you're meant to record on a Source game, just try to use the implemented Source recorder. Tutorial here Quote
Notte Posted December 28, 2009 Author Posted December 28, 2009 For me is singleplayer + fraps = perfectmultiplayer= massive lagg Quote
jstar Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 hmmmmm. i have done 2 frags videos recorded with fraps on multiplayer and it worked fine- minimum lagg.If you have xfire that works great but you just have to change the video setting because the default are BAD. I changed mine to 60 fps and full size which it pretty much lagg free and great quality. There are many that do not show when it is recording in game which are not very good but do the job.Fraps can do the job- mess around with some setting and it might help however the only thing i hate a bout fraps is that you can only record 30 seconds but you can work around that search the internet as well! Nobana Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 If you have Xfire that works great but you just have to change the video setting because the default are BAD.Xfire just cant pack the video files well. Last time I recorded something(World in Conflict), video no longer than 1 minute, is almost 2GB! Quote

J-starWho said you can only record 30 seconds? Get rid of the demo,go to The pirate bay and search for fraps-full or something. You don't risk a lot of things, my fraps is a "pirate" one and it works perfect. Quote
Darkstar Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Just turn down the settings in fraps, you may have to sacrifice the quality of the video, but it should take up less FPS Quote

bastardman Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 My lagg is back :S think it's a ram problem XD lagg when there is a loot of zombies around me Well duh, that's not so surprising. If you got time and you're not real mashed up you should try Source recorder since you're recording in Gmod after all. It's sortof advanced, though. Quote
Notte Posted December 31, 2009 Author Posted December 31, 2009 I'm epic English noob XD to advanced for ne XD Quote
