1024x768 images? Thought you had a 24" screen :P

Or are you playing windowed?

Hammer fired it up at 1024x768, so I didn't bother changing res. Good enough for testing anyway.

awsome map man like to see it in mr-green cp server :)

but i got one problem. i dont even know how to make that control-point correctly

ofcourse the entity prop and then a env_cubemap

but like (THE CONTROL HAS BEEN TAKING) i dont how to do that.

and how to make it locked.

the second thing how to make (THE GAME BEGINS IN 30 SECONDS

it's all so hard to make that

that's why i never finish my maps 2.

The map is unrealistic, things like the train door. You use other doors, that are exactly the same, while there isn't going any train through.

And the railings feel very enclosed. It could be hard to move around the point, and the entrances are rather narrow, but is it an arena or cp map? (you mentioned something about making an arena map for TF2)

i want to start another map (yes again) hmm should i make it inside (like turbine)

or just outside (like a payload map)

i just dont know.

it needs to be perfect not like: BORING!!!!

it needs to be like: very nice map you made

and it need to be fun or not

i need ideas from other player like:

INSIDE,CP, much stairs to take controll points,a rocket

you know like that stuff

...................................................................................................................................

i also will make lots of counter-strike:source

(i already made my house in css (hehe )

and made some poolparty's (for the fun ofcourse)

.........................................................

little or big.

and maybe i need some others to help (not just assisting but really MAKE the map

one is making the doors like that stuff entitys

and the other is making the mountains the ground and houses

Does someone know how to make this 3 minute cp?

So both teams can capture it and have to hold it for 3 minutes to win.

i know but hmm hard to explain :blink:

i need to know what you have got.

you got a controll point and....

you need a thing for capturing it you need to see ingame that someone is taking it so its turning blue real slowly and i think with that thing you can change the capture limit <_<

i dont know it for sure.:D

i have got a bid of the map ready (cs:s map) it's really nice this far

and i will post some images of it soon.

it is a good map for GUNGAME too.

and ofcourse just for normal playing o and it will be a BOMB defuse map (not hostage)

i am not only making this map there will be lots more

i am practise alot making maps becouse in the future i will make TF2 maps ( FINISHED!!!! )

now it isnt easy (the cp's and the payload cart and the voices ... and alot more of that sort of things)

keep looking here for my maps

Uuuh I know ; pretty old thread that's getting bumped but I needed to ask something.

It's specialy for Clavus:

A very long time ago (november 09) I made a application with the question : can I make maps for IW.

I never got an answer but that doesnt matter ...yet.

All I need to know now is "what do you need to put in a IW map?"

Like how many spawns, what kind of spawns, and that sort of stuff.

I hope you can explain it to me ;)

i know this topic is a bid dieing. but well i whas bored and made another map with a better looking the others ( others were made quickly ( ugly) )
