I've been playing MTA for about a week now, and was recently banned from the Left4green racing server, which is disappointing, since this is the only racing server I see with a decent player count. Either way, the ban was by "Juggernaut" and I assume the reason was speed hacking. Either way, since I installed the mod, I noticed that I had a certain problem with races. Namely that my vehicles are noticeably faster than everyone else. I looked around, and it turns out that this was due to my dual core CPU causing exceptionally high FPS. Apparently a few people have that problem. I don't know much about it, but I downloaded a core optimizer, and everything seems to be running at a normal pace now.Here is my original thread in the MTA Forums:http://forum.multitheftauto.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=26191I hope the misunderstanding can be resolved. the_mario_man Posted January 4, 2010 Author Share Posted January 4, 2010 That might have been the problem; I downgraded this PC from Vista to XP. Before I installed the optimizer I tried playing in singleplayer and it was pure hell; cutscenes skipped themselves, traffic was crashing left and right. Everything seems to be working smoothly now.
