I think that making it Closer will do.

Also you will need to add some more static props.

Like pipes under your floor, some lights and physics. That will do.

Now it looks boring with its emptyness.

Choose skybox: d1_coast_02 and make an optional sun for it.

Make coast water texture (it will look great)

So if you make it brighter, it will be less boring.

Make a 3d skybox, like my partners said :)

Add some decals.

i will do the props,lights and that after i finish the base of the level first. I am just compiling the map again and will take screenshots so stay close

But why its called zs_ambush, why not zs_bloodrig or smth else?

Also when i am playing some uniqe maps that cannot explaing of how humans got up there, i dont feel that atmospere of zombo apocalypse, so you should do some pre-story of how humans ended in a place like this.

the arrow shows a boat where they came from. the then used rowboats as shown in the circle and then used the elevator which is the line straight up fallowed the catwalks upwards and into the building. :) is that better? but then they get ambushed by zombies from an unreachable platform. :D is that better? zs_bloodrig sounds nice might think about that

About the last picture: we all know what gonna happen if you shoot a fuel barrel

Btw, does water got poisoned? Or you can freely swim and fight zombos in water too?

oh an about the map i am making the human spawning thing slightly unique because after you spawn you have to run on the catwalks to find a way up to the base which will be hard cause zombies spawn on a high platform and fall down and theres loads of traps on the way up... will show a pic at a later point as shown on the picture with the red lines and shapes above
