CsenaHUN Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 (edited) can anyone tell me where to put my user created maps. as in what file do i put them in to work on them in the new map editor. If you use XP maps are here: C:\Program Files\MTA San Andreas\server\mods\deathmatch\resources\If you interest in map building read this topics: And mtawiki of course:http://wiki.mtasa.com/wiki/Main_Page Edited May 4, 2010 by CsenaHUN Quote
Albzi Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 The c drive is of course the default drive, but sometimes it can be something else.(For example mine is the H drive). I just wanted to clear that up before someone says it and is like "I HAVE NO C DRIVE". Quote
SDK Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 If you want to convert old race maps to the new MTA DM 1.0 format you can use this converter http://gtamap.delux-host.com/converter/(upload your map and choose as output "MTA 1.0 Map" ) Quote

MoshPit Posted May 6, 2010 Author Posted May 6, 2010 iv'e converted the files now where do i put them. csena post says (C:\Program Files\MTA San Andreas\server\mods\deathmatch\resources\) however all i find there is zip files. i put them the an still dont see them in the map editor. Quote
SDK Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 That's because that convertor I gave you only returns a .map file. It needs to be put into a folder or zip archive along with a meta.xml.But just use this instead http://www.multithef....0/raceconv.zip or .raceconv.zip Quote
